we visited Whispering Grass Resort Bandhavgrah in this november 2014.beautifull mentend this resorts.The cottages are very neat and nicely located,The food quality is impeccable. and this was a very nice resort to stay!!! not very crowded and the room service was great!!! nice courtyard enough place for kids to play i would definitely recommend it!!! Mr. Sugreev Divedi took great care of the guests and service was So good . And the reception was very helpful. Its a really nice place. Before planning a holiday with family thanks...............

We have been lucky enough to get in touch with Owner of Whispering Grass, Mr. Sugreev Ji for over 20 years now. The experience to stay in this property has never lost its charm. The food prepared by chef "Maharaj" is amazing and he takes time to cater exactly to the needs. Room are cozy, spacious and clean. The staff always remain at disposal for any service a guest may require. My stay on christmas with 5 more people was memorable. Take out time to sit with owner and discuss how much he has contributed for local triabals.||The Tribal dance performance was entralling. There are many birds in the premises and a corridor for a male tiger who crosses maybe once a week as well. If you are looking for homely atmosphere with warm staff at disposal, this is the place especially if you are a wildlife person.

This hotel, unfortunately has more cons than pros. Let me start with the positives first||||Positives:||1. Competitive prices compared to other hotels in Bandhavgarh||2. Good food||||Negatives:||1. Poorly maintained. ||||We reached on the day when the first monsoon rains arrived. This resulted in a lot of winged rain ants and other bugs displaced from the earth and flying all around the estate. To our horror, we found our room and the beds swarmed by insects and bugs. I fully agree that being close to the jungle, there would be plenty of insects around. But it is unacceptable to find them inside the rooms in such large numbers. A few inexpensive measures could have easily kept the creepy crawlies out of our room or at least limited their numbers greatly.|| - There were 2 big openings in the bathroom for the exhaust fan which provided easy entry for the insects. Covering the openings with wire mesh would have prevented the insects from finding access to the room. ||- The gap below the entrance door could have been greatly reduced with an additional rubber lining at the bottom.||||These measures should have been implemented if the owner/management have a little bit of concern and vision. Sadly the presence of such large number of insects was a cause of discomfort during our stay.||||2. There are no fans inside the restaurant which makes it an absolute furnace in most parts of the day! There was no response from the staff when requested to put some portable/stand fans. Its shocking and beyond imagination to find that the owner/management has not considered it necessary to have fans inside the restaurant!||||3. The surroundings are dirty...lot of rubbish and plastic lying uncleared in the back yard behind the cottages.||||||All this strongly indicates that involvement of the property owners in the management of the hotel is non existent. There is no evidence that the owners care at all towards maintenance and upkeep of the property.||||The only saving grace was the food which was good. Arrangement of our jungle safaris was also very good.||||A bit of vision and effort from the owners could be this property good value for money. In its present state, I would not recommend friends to stay here.

Resort Location : Perfect. |Rooms : Well decorated n well maintained . |Overall Cleanliness : Nothing to complain. |Front Office Staff behaviour : Very cooperative n helping. |Rates : Moderate n affordable . |Food Quality : Excellent. The Chef was well trained n expert in cooking. |Specially to mention about the owner Mr. Sugreev Dwivedi : Very friendly cooperative n humble .

I have checked in this hotel on 4/11/2018 bd checked out on 6/11/2018. the hotel condition was pathetic. bed linen were dirty and having lots of different spot on the white bed sheet. white bath towel turns yellow with red patch. The floors were dirty. no hot water. A/C was not working even fan was not working properly. only good thing is food which was good & the room service. this hotel room should not be cost more than Rs: 500.00||everybody should avoid stay in this hotel.

To begin with, food which was very bad in taste as well as in quality. Had to wait for 1 hour after doing the orders, rooms were okay with clean bathrooms but ac wasnt working whole night and we had a terrible night. I and my husband travelled with my brother and his wife also had same issues with their room. The urge to explore bandhavgarh was very big n we avoided such problems. And fortunately we spotted two tiger and one leopard so tht overcomes everything. Resort can be maintained well although it is well constructed. Manager was humble and helping but other staff members werent. Can never think to visit there again

Its a big property with individual cottage types rooms. We visited this place during new year, which is coldest period of the year. We were prepared for lower temperature given the place is open and surrounding jungle but thought at least rooms will be a little cozy and warm. But to our surprise, rooms were colder (perhaps made of limestone for summers) with no working AC/heater in the room. On top of that hot water supply in the bathrooms were also not working fine (there are no electrical heaters inside the bathrooms, hot water is supplied from boilers). The construction looks quite old so does bedsheets and blankets. They had a good open restaurant and food was OK.

I have visited last year with my friends,a nice property with a green and peaceful ambience.||The cottages were neat and clean and facing a balcony to charan ganga river.More than 50 varieties of birds were found in the campus itself.we were lucky to see a tiger in our one and only||safari guided by the gypsy driver Mr.Sunil.Most of the staff in the hotel from near by village||and they extent a nice service to make our stay memorable.They provide us a camp fire till late night without charging anything extra.We enjoy the local tribal folk dance in the evening.||The food was really wonderful . Once again i would like to say thank you to the hotel owner||Mr.Sugrrev dwivedi and his team.
