Hotel Prakasham

I've had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Prakashamm for 2 days with my family and I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning to visit Ujjain. The hotel is situated in prime location and all the major temples are within 2 kms radius and are easily accessible via autos and other means of transportation. The hotel is newly constructed and boasts clean, spacious and well ventilated rooms with good amenities, with attached washrooms having modern fittings. The washrooms are clean and big. The staff is very friendly and helpful and will guide you with all the minute details you shall need, including food, cabs or autos. The manager was especially very kind to us and made sure we could visit every place easily and on time. You can find small places to eat local food and good restaurants nearby. It's a great place to stay whether you're travelling solo, with family or friends, specially with such kind people who treat you like family. I would like to thank them for their hospitality and urge anyone who is looking for a memorable stay in ujjain to visit this place.

A 100% value for money place! Definitely recommending this place for everyone visiting Ujjain. Though it's in a wholesale market area, it's right on the road and most of the landmark sites are within a range of walking distance or the travelling distance of maximum 8 kms including sandipani ashram, mangalanath mandir, kaal bhairav mandir, gadkaalika mandir Even if you can't walk, you'll easily be able to get rickshaw / auto with 20/- per person and will leave you to mahakal mandir, bade ganesh mandir, Ram ghat or harsidhi mandir The hotel people are very cooperative and will even assist you even late night for any thing. Definitely recommending and happily reviewing

Want to share such positive feedback related to my stay with my family at Hotel Prakasham. 1. Sujal was too quick to take our booking on call, just 10 hours before we checked in. 2. The rooms were too spacious and very neat and clean and absolutely hygiene. 3. The staff is friendly, too quick, and very polite and helps with all requested things. 4. The toilets were absolutely clean and hot water for shower were on all time. 5. They provided baby food items or milk when asked for and also helped for cab booking. Overall, A 5 star rating for the entire experience of our stay at Prakasham Hotel!

I Stayed at Hotel Prakasham for a couple of days and was very very satisfied with my stay. The hotel is located pretty much in the heart of the city but you can easily miss the it in the congested streets. Below are the Pros and Cons Pros: 1.] Hotel has been recently renovated and rooms were very clean. We were offered a deluxe room which can comfortably accommodate 3 adults. Even the area outside the rooms were quite spacious and you will never feel congested. 2.] They have their own parking space in the basement which is a plus point as most of the other hotels do not have any parking space or guests have to park on open roads. 3.] Hot water is available 24/7. 4.] Elevator is available to access the upper floors. 5.] There were a couple of instances of power outage during our stay, but there was immediate backup and we didn't have to face any issue in terms of electricity. 6.] Hotel staff were very courteous and polite. 7.] Hotel is pretty close to the Ujjain railway station approx 1.3 km 8.] Rooms have a TV. Cons: 1.] The hotel is approx. 1.7 kms walking distance from the temple, which could be an issue for elderly people assuming you are walking to the temple. 2.] The hotel does not have an in house restaurant. However food can be ordered to your rooms from outside and with multiple options available just outside I don't think this should be a major issue.

The staff is courteous and helpful, assisting with auto-rickshaw arrangements and local information, making travel hassle-free.

We recently stayed at the hotel and the staff is providing excellent level of service and clean rooms and family oriented rooms based on the requirements and Mr. Manish at the reception gave us exceptional room. must recommend this place for larger family , couple and even single person if you are looking for good stay near Ujjain Temple because walking distance to Mahakal and nearby markets for shopping. we really loved it and our go to place for everytime.

Excellent and convenient stay. Rooms were quite spacious and clean. The property is like new. Staff behavior was very good. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Mahakaleshwar temple is about 1.8 kms far and you need to take auto to reach there.
