HOTEL IMPERIAL GRAND

This hotel is just looting you in the name of nearness to the Mahakal temple. The rooms pics available online are deceptive, as the actual room sizes are much smaller and beds so small that they barely accommodate 2 adults comfortably. The washrooms were very small and smelly too and service very poor. THE WORST WAS THE FOOD--in breakfast hardly anything was there that one could eat as filling stomach. They'll write all fancy stuff, but make stale/sugary or highly spicy food and to top it all the RESTAURANT STAFF WAS RUDE AND INDIFFERENT. They'll say that we are close to mandir and we have exclusivity etc., which is all a lie. If you have your own vehicle, Anju Shree (at a lower price and much better facilities) is a better option--that's just about 1.5 kms away and another Rudraksh (about 3 kms away), because anyway one cannot go walking from imperial also to the temple. So, if any vehicle has to be taken, might as well have a better and comfortable hotel with good food. One most important advise--DO NOT PRE-BOOK THIS HOTEL. They will say that you will get better deals in booked in advance, but to walk-in customers, they were giving at much cheaper rates. IN SHORT, BOOK THIS HOTEL ONLY IF YOU HAVE MONEY TO WASTE.

Hotel imperial it's very excellent. |Everything was just amazing. The interior was good rooms are luxury with clean. The swimming pool at the top floor was amazing. Food is very good and tasty. I really recommend this hotel to all the guest..

One of the luxurious hotel in ujjain near to the temple. The hotel is very neat and clean . They also have swimming pool at the top floor .which is very good .thank you to the team. Food is very tasty . I really enjoy my trip with the luxurious hotel thanks

Our experience became sour at the beginning itself as there was no valet to pick up the car but we decided not to crib about it as it was holi time and they were short staffed as informed by the guard. The issue started with the room service as they bought an order which did not belong to us and they kept arguing about it that we had ordered it. Once it was sorted that the extra waterbottles were not ordered by us and when asked to remove it from the bill they said it cant be changed and instead came back to give is the amount in cash so that we sign the bill. Once that was done in the night when we were asleep i realised that i was falling from the bed. When i woke up i realised the mattress was somewhat faulty and when been slept too close to the end it tend to detach itself and swing towards the ground. I could not sleep the whole night and woke up early. We were getting ready to check out and the most irritating thing happened which made me give such a review was a lady calling us and very rudely saying its time for checkout. Our checkout was at 11 and she called at 10:30 in her absolutely arrogant way which made me realise that we made a wrong choice booking this hotel

Disappointing Experience at Hotel Imperial Grand, Ujjain 1. Poor Room Setup if you require any extra bed - Normally the rooms come with folding beds that are mostly comfortable. The extra bedding they provide is just a simple mattress placed on the floor. If you are expecting a cozy family stay, this arrangement might not be ideal. 2. Food Quality is Terrible - The hotel's restaurant is disappointing. Although the menu lists about 50 items, in reality, only 7-8 options are available. The food lacks quality and taste. It's better to eat outside than to rely on the hotel's dining services. 3. Lack of Comfort and Hygiene - Cleanliness and maintenance are below average. The overall service is slow, and the staff does not seem attentive to guests' needs. I wouldn't recommend Hotel Imperial Grand for a comfortable or enjoyable stay. Poor room arrangements and subpar food service make it a bad choice. If you're visiting Ujjain, it's best to look for better options nearby.

Excellent stay, very friendly staffs. The restaurant also offers tasty food. Rooms are well maintained.
