Tala Camp Bandhavgarh

We just finished our 4 nights stay at Tala camp. I organized everything with Mr Deepak via WhatsApp before arriving and everything worked great. We saw tigers among many others animals, the room was nice and clean , the food good and plentiful. We are glad we choose Tala Camp!

We had an enjoyable and relaxing stay at Tala Camp. Deepak was great to deal with by WhatsApp before we arrived, and very helpfully arranged all our safari drives and gave us advice about transport, and arranged great transport for our onward journey. Sandeep looked after everything to get us into the National Park, which was quite a lot of work for him. Our room was good, with excellent mosquito nets on the windows. Lovely home-cooked meals were provided and we felt like honoured guests staying with the em family rather than customers. All the staff were very attentive and calm. Most of the staff had limited English, not only in Tala Camp but on the Safari drives too, but that wasn't a cause of any discomfort. Deepak offered us a private safari tour, with him as an English guide. That would have been good. But we'd already arranged three shared tours, which were good, but the guides mainly spoke Hindi.

Nice arrangement. Staff is helpful and friendly. You will like a home. The food served was of excellent quality. This guys are not interested in advertising themselves, mouth publicity is the key performer. Overall nice experience. Happy to visit again with my family.

I had a very pleasant stay at tala camp with good beds, nice food and great facilities (e.g. garden, food). But most important were the people. Deepak and his wife and family were great, they made me feel Welcome and did everything to make my stay perfect. Deepak is very passionate about wildlife and we spoke a lot about tigers and nature. I've seen 2 tigers during my stay for 2 days.

Had a lovely stay for 3 nights at TALA Camp. After the hectic pace of other places we had been, it was lovely to wind down and relax in the peace and quiet. The family were extremely helpful and kind. We had two very good safaris, saw a tiger each time, plus lots of other animals including, we think, a baby leopard.||||TALA Camp is a couple of km from the nearest village but the family will happily take you there. Very quiet and peaceful- bring a good book!

Location of Tala camp is little far from Market so if you are not having own vehicle than its difficult. Food was excellent & tast like homely food & nice hospitality by owner. Camp has many different types of plants & trees, even you can come to place for relaxation.

Excellent place to unwind yourself in the midst of jungle and wildlife. Mr. Talan and his family's hospitality is simply awesome. The ambience was wonderful and the food was excellent too. A must visit, if you wish to enjoy every moment of your vacation.

Tala Camp is located just a few minutes drive from the main Tala gate and the village of Tala where local crafts and stores can add to your authentic rural India experience and provide opportunities to take home a painting, T-Shirt or other souvenir of your stay. The most important experience and memory to take home with you will be the moments you relive with Deepak and Vidya, your hosts at Tala Camp, of the tigers and other wildlife you have seen as you sip cool drinks and dine under the stars. Having travelled extensively around India's wildlife areas staying in many different types of accommodation in search of the elusive tiger, I can honestly say that nowhere we have stayed has been as clean and welcoming as our stays at Tala Camp in Bandhavgarh. If you have a food allergy, as I do, it is important to know that your hosts understand your special needs when preparing and serving food and snacks, Deepak and his family go out of their way to ensure that a variety of good quality home-cooked food is available at a time when you want to eat. This flexibility is great, especially as we always travel to India in the hottest months so sometimes eating when it's a little cooler in the evening is preferable. Other places we have stayed have fixed meal times, often allowing no time to wash and change after the safari before settling down to eat. No such problems at Tala camp.||||When we can travel again, we will return to Tala Camp for sure, we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bandhavgarh, now we have found this little gem.
