OYO 46000 Mayurbaag Resort

A getaway from the city into a wonderful location, it's hard to imagine the place is so close to city but yet so much into nature, almost like a far hillstation. The ducks, other animals and aquarium add to fun for children besides the slides and the swings. Food is good although sometimes serving time might be longer. Snacks, soups and main course all are good ... Recommended for families groups and couples, solo people might find some company before visiting.

The place is good for a family outing, birthday party, get together, or just a spree from routine life. It's also good for couples, but they should consider leaving early because the place is quite distant from Sagar town, and they would find no taxis late night. You get a wide and green grandeur at this place, which is a great plus if you wish to have some serene times. I don't think there are many reasons for someone to book a room and spend nights at a remote place, but even if one has such reasons, I would recommend hotels nearby. They are better as restaurant and garden, not as a lodging facility. Food is quite tasty. We celebrated a birthday here, and both Butter Paneer Masala as well as Dal was good. Those guys served us humbly and respectfully, which is deeply appreciated. Main attraction for visitors remains the beautiful park that is a part of this place. It offers a great sunset point, and a large wide view of greenery from a height.

"Mayurbaag Resort- Avenue of Restoring Peace" Peace of mind is what we search for, it is the dire need of the hour as we live in the world full of bustle and commotion. The days are busy and night becomes restless. In the midst of the chaos I found a place that soothes the soul. The good news is that you don't need to go too far, it is a few kilometres from your house if you live in Sagar. The Resort is situated at the crest of the low hill hence facilitating the visitors with the panoramic view of the Hillside and the delicious food served here is the icing on the cake especially the Chinese is irresistibly tempting. It has a number of swings in the garden for nature lovers, if you wish to have a dinner date in the lap of nature this is just the perfect spot. One can enjoy the warm and pleasant sunshine during day and cool breeze, tge shining moon beams with the pretty twinkling starts up above at night. A perfect spot for rejuvenation!

It could have been a great but due to poor facilities it is an pathetic place to visit. They charge separate entry fee (100/-) for the garden which is not at all maintained. Sitting areas are covered with layers of dust. The food is pricey and stale. Overall not recommended.

I was amongst the guests to a marriage in a nearby resort, due to non availability of enough rooms had to spent a night in this resort. The room was dingy and small but in the morning I found a beautiful view from the window. It has only four rooms in operation but has a good cook to provide tea & breakfast.

It's a new resort and the food is on a better side. Nice place for birthdays, parties and other celebrations. But the service is on a dull side. I had to wait so quite sometime for my order.

Pathetic place. We ordered some food and after 20 minutes the waiter just came and told us it will take 30 minutes more. Seemed like they did not want us to serve us at all which is a very pathetic hospitality for anyone. I would rate it zero and will neither go to this place again nor recommend it to anyone. Bloody idiots.

Expensive Quality is not so good Variety in food is not available everytime. But a nice place to explore because it has a park and a well maintained garden. -it cost you almost 50rs to roam around in garden
