Gourissa Resort Madhai - Best Jungle Hotel & Resort in Madhai

Had an amazing stay at Gourissa Resort, Madhai! The river view room was clean, spacious, and super peaceful. Loved the greenery and calm vibe. The food was tasty and not too oily, just like home. Staff were polite and helpful. It's really close to the Madhai gate, which made our safari super easy. Perfect spot for a relaxing nature getaway.

The location, food, service, amenities all are top notch!! If you want a single place that covers all aspects of a brilliant stay, then this is the place for it. You will enjoy every aspect of your stay here. The Chef came specifically to meet us to see if there is any customisation is required for our group. Rajat was brilliant in managing everything with a smile. |Highly recommended.

The location of the resort is Excellent with a view of Dawa river, reservoir lake, the mountains, view of Sunrise and Sunset and in a village. ||It is in the buffer area but very near the core area of safari at Madhai. ||The resort is very well maintained, clean with swimming pool and other amenities. Rooms/ cottages are spacious. ||Food and room services are great and prompt. ||The staff members are courteous, friendly and helpful.

Property is beautiful and strategically located on the banks of Denva river, lovely view , staff are so well mannered and always on their toes to help you out . Lovely stay , enjoyed thoroughly. Will recommend everyone to come and stay once atleast for the lovely experience.

One of the best resorts in Madhai side of Satpura. Great view, overlooking the lake, amazing food, and the entire staff team is warm and friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our safari expedition and had one of the most epic stary nights by their poolside! Totally recommend this resort to other wildlife and nature lovers!

Kitchen staff is sometimes very good. But standard instructions are not followed. The give a huge ice box for breakfast which does not fit in the gypsy and we need to stuff everything in our personal bags last minute. The guides were also seemingly unhappy with his everyday problem. Staff smokes below room no 107 because of which the toilet and linen smell of smoke. No hairdryer available in the room or on the property. Air-conditioner of our room was out of order. There are gaps in balcony doors because of which the room fills with moths and flies. The location is adjacent to Tawa river. 5 star for that. Swimming pool and other outdoor games. Ample space. Evening bhajiyas are good. Tea is good.

Good hotel with bit outside the Ujjain city on Indore road. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Swimming pool also available.

It all started with super efficient and a helpful backend team at the Pandav Group of hotels. Komal made sure our requirements are well noted and helped us an itinerary accordingly. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Despite green cover of plants around, no pests or mosquitoes. A nice ground in the middle with a pool over looking the lake makes the sunset look even more beautiful. The staff is very humble and ready to serve with smile. Rajat kept checking with us about our comfort and made sure everything was right. We had special requests since we were a group with infants and small kids and all these requests were attended promptly. Saurabh and team attended pretty efficiently to our House Keeping requests. Food was delicious and with local flavours. We requested for Dal Baati for one of the meals, to our surprise the chef, Surendra and his team, got these made in an authentic and traditional way. Ram Lakhan, Aryan and team served these delicacies with a smile. Jungle Safari and Boat Safari were very well managed Harendra. With all the surge in demand of Gypsy and Boats, he went out of the way to help us out. Overall, a trip to remember with good memories to cherish... all thanks to the wonderful team at the Pandav Group and Gourissa Resort, Madhai.
