Kings Lodge - Bandhavgarh National Park

We had a truly wonderful stay at Kings Lodge! The staff was exceptionally courteous and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely scrumptious--every meal was a treat. The property itself is breathtakingly beautiful, surrounded by nature and so thoughtfully maintained. They curated a perfect safari experience for us, which made our trip even more memorable. Overall, it was the perfect vacation, and we're already looking forward to visiting again very soon!

Our second time at Kings Lodge, Bandhavgarh, and once again, it felt like coming home to the jungle. The rooms are spotless and welcoming--thanks to the ever-efficient housekeeping team. Every time we returned, the room was fresh, neat, and fragrant. A special shoutout to Arun for his consistent attention to detail! The food deserves a mention of its own--light, clean, and just right for those early morning safaris. Thank you, Chef Gaurav, for meals that kept us energized yet feeling light. Evenings here are magical--dining under the stars by the jungle, surrounded by peace and warm hospitality from Rajkishore, Sant Lal Yadav, and Saryu. What truly stood out was the impeccable planning of our full-day safari (where the temperature reached almost 40 degree celsius) From timely hot lunches to cold towels, blankets, umbrellas, and refreshing lemon water--every detail was taken care of. Huge thanks to Mr. Prasantha, the resort manager, for his warmth, precision, and for ensuring our stay was absolutely seamless. The lodge's proximity to the safari gates is another bonus, especially with back-to-back safaris. Hands down, the best hospitality in Bandhavgarh. Can't wait to return! Regards Namrata & Varun Niser

5-star property in the middle of the jungle. Well laid r comfortable rooms. Awesome food - flavourful & healthy. Lemongrass & chocolate icecream are to die for. Warm & hospitable staff led by Prashanta, who is outstanding - gives personal attention to every guest supported by Ravi, a silent worker. Chef was very supportive & gave us customers meals everyday. Their safari jeeps are very nice. Special mention of their young & very learned Naturlist Yash, who stole the show.

Absolutely fabulous stay here and what made it so special are the staff. The attention to customer service is outstanding and nothing is too much trouble. They treated us like royalty, just as their name suggests. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the food is delicious and one night eating outside under the stars was very special. Highly recommended.

This was a fabulous place to stay. Staff couldn't do enough for us, the lodges were lovely and spacious - housekeeping serviced 3 times daily inc turn down. The food was lovely and the chef extremely accommodating, happy to produce special meals or meet dietary requirements at anytime. As we left early(ish) on our last day they provided a packed breakfast for us to take with us. On arrival we were given Kings Lodge etched metal water bottles which we could fill up with filtered chilled water whenever we wanted and the bottles would keep the water chilled for longer. These were ours to take home which was a lovely touch. We had the same driver and guide allocated for each drive which was also useful as they knew what we'd already seen and what we still hoped for. I'd definitely stay here or at another Pugdundee lodge should we return to India.

I had the pleasure of staying at Kings Lodge at the end of December 2024, and I couldn't stop raving about it to my cousin sister, who had also visited Bandhavgarh recently. We both kept listing the highlights of our stays like sustainability, the warm hospitality of the staff, the delicious farm-to-table food, and the serene natural ambiance. Until we realised that both of us were actually talking about the same place. What's striking is how consistently excellent our experiences were, despite visiting at different times. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat that's in harmony with nature, Kings Lodge will be a perfect place to be. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

What a great place! Our second story bungalow was comfortable and spacious. To heat the room at night we used two space heaters which more than did the trick. The service is outstanding and the staff strives make you more comfortable. The guides were excellent and very knowledgeable. The food was excellent and was the best food of any of the safari lodges we stayed in India.

My husband and I went to Bandhavgarh and stayed at the Kings Lodge. From the minute we arrived to the time wr left we were treated with great deal of care and courtsey. Since our luggage did not arrive they even got a kaftsn stitched overnight. Chef Chakraborty is brilliant and each meal was a celebration. The safari was worthwhile even thougjh we did not see a tiget but our naturalist shared a wealth of information abd our encounter with the crocodle tree was fascinating having said this I hope Pugdundee find wsys to further help local people organize a trip so guedts can buy local products Nandita Haksar and Sebadtian Hongray
