MPT Vindhya Retreat, Rewa

We always go for MPT blindly while touring MP. It is almost always ' Value for Money '. Only this time MPT VR Rewa was a bit disappoting. A few negative points: 1) Housekeeping is not done by professional / trained staff so hygiene level is low. 2) Campus is large & open but garbage is visible all over. 3) Parties are conducted but clean up it not done quickly. 4) Free breakfast is just average kind. Same items everyday. Sitting system is not proper. Positives 1) Rooms are spacious with well appointed items. 2) Food is satisfactory. 3) Staff are polite & well mannered. 4) Very conveniently located with ample parking place. 5) Large open campus with good flower beds all around. 6) Front desk staff should be sent for training. Overall it is 3.0/5 now, but can easily jump to 4.5/5 level.

The food is serene, The staff is polite and the location is phenomenal.But We had to switch rooms as in one room the bathroom door wasn't closing.And the staff didn't know that! So it took us 1 hour to switch rooms because of the slow staff. But still a good place overall.

Managed by the government, the staff maintain a relaxed and unhurried approach. The rooms, though old, are clean and well-maintained. We had a pleasant overnight stay but did not try the room service. However, breakfast was not ready by 8 AM. Apart from that, we had no complaints.

Pros: 1. Located on highway, good option for long distance travellers for night stay. 2. Beautiful looking property from outside. Cons: 1. Poorly maintained rooms with old and dirty rugs, broken toilet seats, mouldy interiors. 2. Food is average with limited options.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Avoid This Hotel! I had one of the worst experiences at this hotel. The room was in a pathetic condition - we found lizards inside, and the AC was not working at all. To make matters worse, the room service was absolutely unresponsive and careless. When we went to complain at the reception, the manager Mr. Dwivedi not only ignored our concerns but misbehaved with us. The level of unprofessionalism and rudeness was shocking. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this hotel. It completely ruined our trip and left us frustrated and disappointed.

It is quite, pollution free stay resort. Out side of city. Staff is very polite and guest friendly but over burdened so some times fail to provide quick room service. But their simplicity and polite behaviour makeup all the negative things zero.

Typical MPT property. Spacious neat & clean rooms. The staff was polite and prompt. They can improve a bit on the food taste.

We stayed here for our trip to Prayagraj for Mahakumbh. This is huge property with room size really big. Food in restaurant is quite tasty though service is quite slow. But hotel is quite maintained as compared to Maharashtra tourism hotels
