Tendu Leaf Jungle Resort & Spa

This was my second visit to tendu leaf resort panna. And I'll keeping visiting this place over and over again for it has set a benchmark for hospitality & comfort. Location : it's nearer to Madla gate panna and so morning rush hush for safari cuts down a bit. Property : is well designed and executed. It overs everything one wants on a holiday ( spa / swimming pool / theatre/ gym / deck over looking Ken river / table tennis facility/ cycling etc . Delicacies and food preparation were delicious . Everything thing we demanded for a safari breakfast was prepared and sent with us for the jungle safari. Hence the dedicated staff pampers you silly. We stayed in a cottage named : duck ... rusty looking cottage from outside and cozy from inside. It provided all the amenities. The rooms were clean. In short absolutely comfortable. The desk people were hospitable they provided us with smooth safari bookings / transport to and fro from rooms to front desk in buggi. Rajju is an ace driver ... safari with him surely gets you a tiger sighting... keep it up team tendu leaf.

Tendu Leaf Resort is an excellent choice ! Right from the first phone call we made to them regarding the room inquiry, the staff Manish ji was helpful and guided us about safari booking online etc. They helped us with booking cabs for airport pick up and drop, sight seeing. The rooms are cozy and spacious. Food is excellent and the variety is great. Going back with wonderful memories and will be back soon. Rajju ji helped us with the safari and we got to see 6 tigers !!! Special mention to the two sweet dogs on the property who gave us company.

We stayed at Tendu Leaf Jungle Resort to celebrate New Years and My Birthday, and what great hospitality they had. They arranged a cosy bonfire for bringing in my birthday which really impressed me. The staff at the resort is very helpful and dedicated. The food is delicious specially their desserts. The resort also was very generous to pack us breakfast when we left for our morning safari which shows that they want to give their guests the best experience while enjoying the wildlife of Panna. We really enjoyed our stay at the resort and would be visiting again soon! Plus the property believes in sustainability and is very eco friendly with their own kitchen garden

Our stay here was super relaxing and amazing. Such a beautiful getaway from the city's hustle bustle. The staff is courteous and extremely helpful. We were a group of 15 and stayed here for three days. Had such a great time at the bonfire. The cake was lovely and so was the decoration. Loved every bit of it. Thank you for a wonderful memory.|Special mention: the food at the restaurant is really nice. In love with the tiramisu

We stayed here for two nights. When we arrived they told us that they upgraded us. Our room was nice with plenty of space. The food in the Restaurant was excellent. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner. There were always enough choices. |The Tendu Leaf Resort is nicely arranged. Some areas seem to need renovation.|We had a wonderful time!

I'm writing this review from the perspective of a solo traveller whose main purpose was to visit Panna National Park. ||What was good:|- The property itself was lush and tree-filled. It was lovely to walk in the property as it overlooks the river and has a nice deck from where you can view the water. The river-side access was shut and locked, so I couldn't walk to the banks of the river. There are several flowering semal trees that attract varieties of birds, so I got some great photos at the property itself.|- The bathroom was large, with a small changing area and cupboard. All the usual amenities were included - a comb and room slippers were especially useful as I had forgotten to bring both. |- The room (109, parakeet) had a lovely veranda where you can sit and enjoy your tea or read a book.|- Helpful and friendly staff||What was a bit disappointing:|- I was told ( and read in the reviews) that the property was very close to the park gate. This is not true. It is on the opposite bank of the river, across a long-ish bridge. Most of the other hotels are on the same side as the park.|- The room is made of wood and is a bit dated and scuffed. Could use an upgrade or better maintenance.|- The dining room is nice, but too noisy. I was the only guest and the noise from the kitchen was loud and disturbing. There's a nice outdoor area where you can have your meals.|- The food was ok, they didn't offer a buffet as there were very few guests at the time. I'd recommend the Indian food only, the Western food was not good.|- The booking process was a bit tedious as you need to book from an agency called Saga Vacations.|- Do not book safaris through the hotel. They do not add any value to the booking as they don't offer the services of an in-house guide or naturalist. They also charge approximately 20-25% more for the booking. I would highly recommend booking your safaris directly through the MP forest department website. ||The bottom line: The property itself is lovely, quiet, natural and comfortable. The amount they charge is too high for the value and services offered. I would not recommend it to anyone who is coming to experience the national park.

Recently visited this beautiful resort for a conference, and oh my god, what a beautiful place, what a peaceful setting and what hospitality Tendu Leaf Jungle Resort and Spa showed. Top-notch and fabulous. 5 on 5 star rating. Nothing there can be ordinary.

Very comfortable rooms and amazing food served at the restaurant. Kids had a great time too. Friendly staff. luxurious and comfortable stay.. Overall a memorable experience. A must visit if you are a nature lover and want to experience an excellent jungle stay.
