Colonel Hathi's Bagoha Wilderness Retreat

Stayed for 2 night with my wife , mother and in laws. Everyone enjoyed the experience. Place is quaint, beautiful and is on banks or Ken river. Homes are well Maintained with an attached pool. Since we went close to holi we enjoyed the pool Great for walks, birding, star gazing and connecting to nature. Staff is also very helpful and home cooked food is delicious. Will suggest everyone to try the property. It will be a great experience and a very different and delightful one for people who visit from busy , big cities

The location is breathtaking, surrounded by lush forests and the thrilling possibility of spotting wildlife. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring every need was met with warmth and professionalism. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered stunning views of the reserve. Also the food was delicious. I can't wait to return. Highly recommend this gem for nature lovers and adventure seekers!

An absolutely wonderful experience to be hosted by Saiba, Apoorva and Colonel, we came as guests and left as friends. The property is a stunner , right on the lap of the forest, by the riverside ... the rooms were awesome ... the food and special mention of the jackfruit kebabs and tomato chutney were by far the best we had. The entire staff was always warm and welcoming . Had some brilliant sightings and everything was managed beautifully, highly recommended

Stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. The location is around 8 km in the buffer zone of Panna National Park. Rooms are neat and clean with a small plunge pool and a nice terrace to sit on. 2 rooms have single beds and one room on the FF has double bed. Home cooked nothing fancy very delicious food is served in the open varandha with love. Hand made chatni is to die for and we had it with all our 3 meals daily. Rice / roti / dal and vegetables very good. Tea is ok ok. Don't expect butler service but great tasting food. Helpers Shahid Khan / Mukandi Lal and his family ( read the cooks ) are always available and helpful with a smile. Call them anytime and any number of times. Service with a smile. SAFARI. Shahid drives you to the gate and comes back for pick up. We did one night safar ( spotted a bear family / one leopard and one cat ) plus the night Safari experience of jungle blackness and sounds. Day Safari no 1 what a sighting of tigress and her cubs. She walked ahead of our jeep for around 7 minutes with her cubs. Then left her cubs in the bushes and vanished. Cubs vanished after a couple of minutes. Day Safari no 2 sighting of tigress with her cubs for around 3 minutes. Deer / sambhar / jackal aplenty. Cons. The path to the rooms is a little tricky for young kids or old persons. Construction is going on so you see workers and some stone cutting sound but with doors. Loses and AC on it's not disturbing. Plus take walk in the property and check out the new rooms overlooking the river. All in all wonderful experience if not looking for star service and uniformed helpers. Feels more like home.

Our stay at the retreat was very comfortable and a lot of care was taken by the entire team there. We stayed for two nights with beautiful views from all parts of the retreat. Everything was organised, well thought of and prepared before hand. We even got to hear bears fighting it out near the retreat . The meals, be it veg or non-veg, were absolutely yummy and satisfying to the palette. Thank you Colonel Hathi for an unforgettable stay! Can't wait to be back !

Location is like dikala in Corbett. We see animal roaming outside resort as it is in buffer zone . For wildlife lover these place is heaven. Location is mind blowing as we enter buffer zone jinna in the night to reach the property. Food is also good as it cooked in chula. Nice clean room for family to stay.

Had a wonderful and cozy stay in the wilderness space created by colonel hathi's team. Got to see male 663 tiger in evening safari and leopard at night near the property. along with many beautiful bird species present in the property.

Thoroughly Enjoyed my stay here. The property provides amenities such as private swimming pool while also keeping the aesthetics of the place intact. A lot of thought has been put in the design of the rooms/cottages and it shows. The location also provides facility for nature trails within the property where we had an amazing sighting of two leopards! Safari books were also done smoothly and all our safaries were fruitful. Highly recommended.
