Sparrow Home Stay panna tiger reserve

The homestay was fantastic! Lakhan and his family are amazing hosts. They are so friendly, welcoming and helpful, we felt like part of the family. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. There is also a lovely rooftop area with a view of the village. They provide a great menu with lots of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the food was fresh, healthy and very delicious. The house in a quiet street but is very close to the national park entrance. Lakhan was extremely helpful in arranging a tiger safari for us and dropping us off at the gate. The property is also a short walk from the Ken River and a short bus ride to some beautiful waterfalls. Thank you Lakhan!

Visited sparrow home stay in February 2025. Great location near the madla gate. Excellent service by Lakhan right from arranging pick up to stop to safari bookings. Just all of it. Amazing food which was easy on your stomach and very hygienic considering it was a home stay

It was an excellent experience to stay at Sparrow Home Stay Madla. Room and washroom were very clean and spacious. Rooms are nicely decorated with rural theme. Big terrace is a plus point from where one can have view of surroundings. Place is calm and peaceful and morning chirping of birds is an icing on the cake. One feels right in the mid of nature. Place is also very close to Madla main entry gate of Panna Tiger Reserve. Lakhan ji and his family are very good hosts. Home cooked food was very delicious and freshly made. We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay with them. Lakhan ji has very good knowledge about wildlife animals and plants. Also he arranged all our safari bookings and other formalities seamlessly. We will definitely recommend this place who wants to visit Panna Tiger Reserve. We would also like to come here again whenever we get a chance in future.

Great stay at Sparrow. Lakhan jee, his wife and 24*7 our guide and friend Sonu. A must recommend for people who want to stay near national park and looking for budget friendly great option. One request please try to eat home cooked food. Lakhan jee and his wife are great chefs. :)

Our stay at Sparrow Homestay was a home away from home, thanks to the hospitality of the hosts, Lakhan Ahirwar and his wife. Our room was cozy and clean. Attached bathroom was spacious with clean fittings. The terrace was an added attraction for the birdwatchers for sure. Home cooked food was tasty and fresh. The location was perfect as it was very near to Madla Gate and took only a couple of minutes to get to the gate for the safaris. Here are some key points that you will enjoy - Clean room and good housekeeping - A nice terrace - Home cooked food, specially the multigrain chapatis. - Very calm & quiet location. Some points to improve: - I Would really like to have a little more variety of foods served. - Would really like the quantity of breakfast to be a little more for the safaris. - Please include a thermos flask with tea for the chilly winter morning safaris.

It was amazing experience staying here, Lakhan Ji and family is a great host and gives you homely vibes with his hospitality. Rooms were neet and clean, food was made with home grown organic vegetables. Very close to Panna tiger reserve, good jungle storyteller dont forget to ask him one.

Sparrow Home Stay at Madla village provides you basic comforts.Most ideal for two small families.Mr Lakhan Lal is most courteous, helpful, considerate and ever willing to help.His wife Parvati cooks sumptuous home food which is served with all the affection.The hosts will make you feel at home. My wife and I stayed at Sparrow Homestay for a few days and had a great stay. The location is right inside the Madla Tourist Village with lovely views of the village, forests and fields. The homestay is true to the concept with two rooms with bathrooms on the first floor, the hosts living below. The hosts - Lakhan and Parvati - are warm, resourceful and very responsive. Each room has space for three bed and is very tastefully done up and equipped. One of the finest places with sensible rates to stay if you visit Panna and Khajuraho.
