OYO 23178 Hotel Raj Mandir

The only place with rude people in my entire month of travelling in MP! We had a fully paid confirmed online booking. I can understand that they may no longer have an online tie up but they could have communicated and handled the whole situation much better. Not only did they deny the whole booking but did it very unprofessionally and rudely. For a second, we almost considered booking direct with them but their overall behavior was so unsavory that we simply left. Avoid if you dont want an unpleasant experience in your travel.

Doesn't accept online bookings, book at your own risk. Extremely rude staff and owner. DETAILS Booked via Goibibo, 8th Dec 2024, reached at 8pm in the freezing cold and booking was rudely refused by staff and owner. Goibibo provided number of one Rajeev agarwal at the hotel as booking reference, Number is correct, person is correct but booking refused with excuse of not having any online booking tie up. It is perfectly alright if they don't offer online booking but rude and disrespectful behavior of staff and owner was simply unacceptable.

Took a halt while travelling from Jhansi, was looking for a pure vegetarian restaurant and got a glimpse of this hotel. The place is located on main road just before Orchha and to my surprise offered pure vegetarian food options. The staff was polite and courteous, and on my request served food well before time. Food served was fresh and was to our liking as it didn't had any foul smell or bad taste, was well cooked with minimal oil. Overall a must visit place if you are looking for a good fresh pure vegetarian meal on your way to Orchha.

Rooms and location are good but not enough parking space.

Its not good i will give this hotel 0.5 stars rating so poor no clean no fast service

Hotel is not so good , bedsheets are found dirty in my room ,size of room too small anyone can see your personal activities inside the room because there is gap between roof and door samething with bathroom also. If you visited this hotel please take first floor rooms they are quite good. You won't get water in late night tea and some food items are available only in the morning.

23 June, 2016.|We were heading for a quick day out at Orchha, from Gwalior, on road.|The Wife, Junior and Yours Truly, and a friend from Gwalior, with|his wife, and younger daughter. We had mistakenly assumed that|this was not really the tourist season at Orchha, so|accommodation would be readily available. That may have indeed|been the case, but it was raining by the time the sun went down,|and Orchha had been struck by a massive power failure. We went|around a few hotels in the vicinity, checking if they had|generators, to at least turn fans, and rooms with ventilation.|Some had inverters for the front lobby, while some did not make|us feel comfortable with what we saw around. We headed towards|Tikamgarh, the town close-by, in search of a better place.|It was here that we came across the impressive Hotel Raj Mandir.|Yes, they had a generator, and yes, the place looked neat, clean|and tidy. They had air-conditioned rooms, but the reception was quite|frank in admitting that since this was a huge unscheduled|power-cut, they didn't really know when the power supply would be|restored. We looked at the rates at that time:|Cottage room: Rs.1500|Deluxe room: Rs.2500|Super Deluxe room: Rs.3500|Swimming pool, per head: Rs.250|The hotel had a swimming pool as well. We went around to have a|look at the rooms, since the rates suited us fine, for what we|were getting. the well-lit corridors have an interesting decor.|We were shown inside a few representative rooms. One had a|fan and a small seating area outside, with the room nicely|colour-coordinated with two beds, all neatly done. The bathroom|was large, and neat and clean as well.|The AC rooms did not have outward-opening windows: they opened|into the corridor. We would have gone in for|this place had the power cut not happened, as it was quite hot|and sultry, made worse by the long drizzle.

Well there is no wifi facility, AC didn't work all the time, serious voltage problem. Bathrooms are dirty. Lot of insects in rooms and also rats , so don't keep your food items outside.
