Hotel Residency

I stayed in Hotel Orchha residency for two nights in December 2012. The hotel is located near the mainstreet, so not too long a distance from the temples. Also, there is a view to the Orchha fort from hotel's rooftop.||I got a room located on the roof top. The room was nicely decorated and very clean to Indian standards, including clean bedsheet. Mattress of the bed was really comfortable, maybe the best bed I've slept in India this far. The sounds of the streetlife came through the walls, but it wasn't too disturbing. I had good sleep in the room.||The staff said, that there is hot water 24 hours a day, and so was it, but too bad the hot water didn't come from the shower. ||The price of the room was 440rs per night, so maybe not for low budget travellers, if you aren't staying in the hotel with a friend. ||||Overall a good place to stay for few nights in Orchha, but not the cheapest opinion, if you are looking for one. If you are willing to pay a little more for a comfy bed and a clean room, then Hotel Orchha Residency is a noteworthy opinion.

We stayed at Orchha Residency for 1 night. We enjoyed amazing view of Jahangir Mahal from the roof. Service is quite well. We were a team of 17 people. The manager helped us with his best. I recommend the hotel to the tourists.

We got to Orchha during the day and spent almost 1:30 trying to find a decent hotel. Orchha is a small town and all the hotels are near but they are all mediocres. We stumbled into this hotel by chance and we decided to stay. The bedroom is big with a big bed, clean, everything we asked were provided (more bedsheets, more blankets), hot water 24 hours because the heater is inside the room and you can control it, they do not have electricity generator (this is very important in India). The bathroom is a wet (it means there are no separation and when you have a shower everything gets wet) but has shower and was clean with tiles. The bedroom has normal TV with English channels and wi-fi was possible in the room. The hotel is one block from the main road and it is quiet and dark so we could sleep very well. We had dinner at the hotel just once; The price is ok but the food lacks tastefulness. Orchha is a small town so everything is at walkable distance.||We payed US$ 15 with wi-fi.

We were in orchha residency last week of jan2014. Hotel rooms and toilet are unhyginic. Drainage ||smell in toilet. we three of us got infection. the orchha residency is dirty hotel. Pls. don't to book this hotel in orchha.

It's a banquet hall not a hotel . Never book it. They use a Room spray which may cause you breathing trouble allergy.
