This resort location is beautiful and very picturesque. Resort is huge very near to nature. It is very rustic and historical importance does exist within its premises. |Rooms and good with all facilities. We came across a huge comfortable king size bed in the rooms which is nowadays not available at any of the modern star hotels. |This property of course need attention in upgrading and changing it's facilities and amenities.

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Bundelkhand Riverside during my sister's wedding! The hospitality was truly exceptional--right from the moment we arrived, the staff made sure all our needs were taken care of with warmth and efficiency. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a relaxing stay for all our guests. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of flavors that everyone enjoyed. What stood out the most was their prompt service--whether it was special requests, last-minute arrangements, or ensuring everything ran smoothly, their team was always ready to help. The hotel is really authentic. It is ancient and built in a perfect colonial style. Every detail has been kept intact and not touched since it was built. Even the light switches are still original from the early 1900's. It feels like being in an Agatha Christie's book. All rooms have a back door on a private balcony with porch overlooking the river. It makes you feel so immerse in the nature. The food both at dinner and at breakfast was good, almost homemade and of wide variety especially at breakfast. The service was great. Every request was fulfilled correctly and quickly. I went at the reception asking for something and since I was there I've also placed an order for a meal to have in our room. They were kind enough to place it for me even though I should have rang the number of the kitchen by myself according to their policy. However, they didn't mention that and instead were just happy to help. The housekeeping staff was always fast to deliver the right items to the room that we requested. They also took my luggage immediately when they have seen that we were checking out and brought it to the reception. Just about hopping on the car after checkout, they gave us a nice handcrafted bouquet of fresh flowers as a caring goodbye gift.

Excellent location, right on the banks of beautiful Betwa river. Yes literally....you walk out of your room and you are on the banks of the river. Rooms are big in size but not very well maintained. The property is not very well maintained in general. The floor in the corridor is covered with dust, the lawns are littered with dry leaves and the front desk sofa linen is unclean. It was very clear that the staff is demotivated, possibly due to low wages as they always expect some tip. At the checkout, we were almost forced to pay tips to some of the staff. Our two night stay was still very good mainly due to its excellent location. Food is passable.

This was originally a hunting palace and it retains all its former charm from manicured gardens to bakelite electrical fittings. It felt like we were transported to a bygone era. We had a river view room which was stunning. The room was large and very comfortable. We were really disappointed though with the pool. The water was cloudy and we don't think the pool pump or filter system was working. The water in the overflow channels smelt really bad and was stagnant. The restaurant served a nice evening meal but many of the breakfast items had been reheated and were not very fresh.

Basic amenities and clean. Large rooms and bathrooms. Clean linen. Average toiletries. ||Very welcoming staff. Food tasty. ||The riverside room has a tiny balcony where two of us squeezed in for a stunning view of the Betwa river. This was the special moment for us. We spent most early mornings watching the mist rise. You could also here the rush of the water from the mini dam at night. Ps watch out for the monkeys. ||We were fortunate to have missed two weddings, one just before and one after. ||The tranquility would have been destroyed. ||A popular wedding destination by the Betwa river.
