Narmada Hills Resort

Honestly speaking the place is too much interior. Neither it is close to temple. Food is damn expensive and such a waste. I paid around 6000 rs but it is not worth 1000. The road is absolutely deserted no petrol pump no hotel no food. We stayed hungry no food no water. Road is so rubbish that car will be damaged. Please beware of online photos and not realistic reviews. Food quality was not at all gud...

Fraud...do not book I booked this resort through agoda, the resort is far from omkareshwar. When we reached resort, the security person said the resort is closed and did not provide further details. I am thankful to agoda who listened to complaint and immediate initiated refund. I am not sure why resort is taking booking although it is closed. There is no communication from them, and provided phone number is also switched off

The resort is located about 35 kilometers from the temple, deep in the jungle. Unfortunately, the staff didn't provide us with any warnings or information about the route. I inquired about the boat service from the resort to the temple, and they informed me that we would have to wait in the boat until enough passengers were gathered. Otherwise, it would cost 1,500 to 2,000 for a private boat pick-up and drop-off. If we choose to take the boat, we still need to reach the bridge by the temple to visit the Mamaleshwar Temple for darshan.

I would give everything a BIG FAT 0 because it's soo unhygienic and not clean. The staff is so careless and rude. Maintenance level is SOO BAD and I recommend you not to come to this resort. The pool was dirty when we came and park was filled with monkey poop and MANY MONKEYS. PLS ABANDON THIS RESORT and there are dents on walls and water leaking from the AC . WHAT TYPE OF SERVICE IS THIS ? TV IS NOT WORKING AT ALL . I asked him to recharge a specific channel on tv and he replied with a rude and lethargic voice . This shows how the resort is not maintained well. There are too many dead ants and cockroaches. BATHROOM is very bad and smelly . When we ordered food, the quality of rice and curry is degraded and messy .Salt was also less in the food . FOOD is highly overpriced and quality is worse ..OVERALL ,this resort is a joke and a BIG MESS. The roads to this hotel is basically not constructed well enough and it's so suitable for elderly people or travelers.... RATING THIS RESORT A FAILURE . The rate of this resort is not reasonable at ALL because the staff , the quality of living and everything is NOT A VIBE.

Please dont keep high hopes first of all the place is very far from omkareshwar temple. U cannot njoy temple area. The place is very deserted. There is nothing u can get around not even bottle of water. If you have emergency the hotel cannot cater. Absolute waste of money. The amount they charge is too high. Not a good welcome. Too many mosquitos. Channels are not working tv is no use. Dirty swimming pool.

Please read all the comments before booking. The resort are 37 km away from the temple. If you book and stay there if will have then only two way to reach Omkareshwar temple. One is by road which is 37km. Another one by boat. They will demand 2500 to 3000 for that because they know you dont have other choice. The Hotel will not even inform you about this thing.

Please dont fall in Narmada Hill Resort trap: 1. Remote place: Place is too remote and unsafe during night. The road went through jungle where google map and internet stops working multiple times. Also u have to give bribe to enter the road at night since it is a forest area and not permitted to travel at night and the road is very scary to travel with family where there is no population/village and road is full of jungle for 20 KM and road quality is also pathetic and you have to stop car multiple times due to bumper, broken road, water on road. Also the staff would not told you this before booking. 2. Google map showing this 4-5 KM from Hotel to Omkareshwar, however this is not directly connected to omkareshwar by road and you have to travel to badwah and then to omkareshwar. This is almost 30 KM. 3. At the time of booking, hotel staff told us you can visit omkareshwar mandir through boat, while arriving at boat site, we are the only passenger for boat and he is asking for 3000 for two people. Also the road connecting the river is not good and unsafe to park car for multiple hours. 3 Food quality is not great, we have taken breakfast only which is not upto the mark. Also, nearby resort nothing is available. 4. U may get good offer on multiple websites on this property as last minute deal, dont fall in trap and avoid this.

Warning: Misleading, Overpriced, and Unhygienic! Our experience at this resort was terrible, and I would urge anyone considering it to look elsewhere. Here's a rundown of what you can expect: 1. Misleading Location Information and Boat Monopoly: The resort advertises that a temple is only 1 km away, but they hide a critical fact--you have to take a boat that costs 300 INR per person, and this is the only convenient option. It's practically a monopoly. If you choose not to take the boat, the alternative route is a whopping 30 km drive, which they also conveniently fail to mention. 2. Forced Upfront Payment: Right after arriving, we were asked to pay the full amount, which felt pushy and unwelcoming. This demand was a red flag, especially since we hadn't even seen the rooms or experienced the facilities yet. 3. False 3-Star Claim: Despite claiming to be a 3-star resort, the rooms are extremely basic. No dental kits, hard beds, and cleanliness issues with lizards and insects crawling in our room. For a supposed "3-star" resort, the room conditions were truly subpar. 4. Unsafe, Poor-Quality Food: Unfortunately, we had no choice but to eat here due to the remote location. The food was not only unappetizing but also dangerous--three of my family members fell ill with food poisoning. The breakfast and dinner options were unappealing and left us feeling uneasy about basic food safety standards. 5. Inaccessible, Isolated Location: Located deep in the jungle, this resort is far from the city and hard to find (not even accurately marked on Google Maps). The isolated setting makes it difficult to access alternative dining or any other amenities. Bottom line: This resort doesn't live up to its promises and makes it hard for guests to enjoy their stay. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and honest place to stay, look elsewhere--this was a deeply disappointing experience. Spend your money on an establishment that values transparency, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
