HOTEL SURYA

I recently stayed at Hotel Surya in Nepanagar during my trip and found that it left much to be desired in terms of comfort and amenities. Being the only option in the area, I had limited expectations. Here's my experience, highlighting the key aspects: Room: The room was very small and uncomfortable, making it difficult to move around or store luggage. The bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped, and the linens appeared to be quite dated. The cramped quarters made for an overall unpleasant experience. Bathroom: The bathroom was in a subpar condition, with no hairdryer and a poorly functioning shower. The lack of proper maintenance and cleanliness made it quite an unsatisfactory experience, and I believe the hotel should invest in upgrades to improve guest satisfaction. Hotel Lobby: Hotel Surya does not have a proper lobby, which made check-in and other interactions with the staff less convenient. The absence of a dedicated space for guests to relax or seek assistance detracts from the overall experience. Hotel Location: The location of the hotel is fine, with easy access to local attractions and necessities. While it's not in the heart of the city, it's conveniently situated near the main points of interest. Availability: As the only option in Nepanagar, Hotel Surya is the go-to accommodation for travelers in the area. However, the lack of competition seems to have resulted in complacency, leading to an underwhelming experience. Tariff: The hotel initially quotes Rs. 1500 for an AC room, but with negotiation, the price can be lowered to Rs. 900. Although the lower price may seem reasonable given the limited options, the quality of the rooms and amenities do not justify the cost. In conclusion, Hotel Surya in Nepanagar leaves much to be desired in terms of comfort and amenities. However, with no alternatives available in the area, it remains the only choice for travelers. I would urge the hotel management to invest in improvements to enhance the guest experience and justify their pricing.
