Hotel Kusum Valley and Restaurant

All stars for the wonderful behaviour of the staff, simple yet tasty pure vegetarian food, best hotel to stay in town, all basic amenities in the rooms. They take complete care of hygiene, the polite behaviour of staff and fast service is what take it to the top. Parking space should be more stretched which will be expanded in near future, location is nearby the railway station at best out the corner of the city .

Stayed over for the night on a long roadtrip. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. We got the suite and the desk clerk gave us a good deal as we were only staying over for the night. The food is below average but the service is good. Spacious parking and proper security. One of the only decent places in town that we managed to find on google maps. You have to leave the main highway and head quite a bit into town though.

Bad experience. Twice in a row. The building is such that you would expect a decent dining experience. But NO. The food is just pathetic. Got me food poisoning. Heard from the locals that they use stale ingredients. Everything is old and kept till it is exhausted. All the vegetables and other things are bought from the least desired section. Think the left over rotten ones after the good ones have been sold. Suffice to say not going there again and would warn others not to go there too.

It's an excellent place to make a night halt if you are driving long distances. The staff is cordial and the menu although only vegetarian, has a long list of gourmet. The taste is superb. The rooms are more then the expectation. I was on my way from Hyderabad to gwalior.

We've decide to go to Delhi from Hyderabad by road in May 2016 but it was not possible to cover long distance without a night stopover. I was looking to break my journey into two equal distance laps. So Narsinghpur (MP) was the ideal place to stopover for a night which is like ~700 KM from Hyderabad||||Now the big question was, if we will be getting a good hotel in such a small city/ town. Thanks to my fellow automotive forum member who stayed in this amazing place just 10 days before my trip date, so he recommended me this place. ||||No pre booking was required, I just called up hotel guys before I started from Hyderabad and told them that I will be reaching late night. A deluxe AC room has been blocked for me.||||We have reached hotel at around 1 am and welcomed by hotel parking guard who helped us to park our vehicle and navigated us to the hotel reception. To my surprise the person at reception was awake and completed the check-in formalities in no time.||||This hotel is located inside the Narsingpur town and hardly 1 KM away from the highway. Hotel offers very neat and spacious rooms with all the basic things available which we generally expect in a good hotel room.||||- King Size Bed||- Split AC with Remote||- LCD TV with DTH connection||- Two Sofa type chairs with center table||- Study/ Office Table||- Intercom||- Nice lighting in the room including night lamps||- All out (Mosquitoes replant) was also there||- Bathroom was very neat and clean with hot and cold water||||We have stayed just for the night and checked out hotel next day morning around 08:30AM after having breakfast in the hotel restaurant at ground floor.||||The only thing that we didn't liked was the breakfast, ordered poha and tea. They put suger in Poha and tea wasn't that great. During our return trip we ate dinner in hotel and it was too spicy. So in house food is not recommended or better to give instructions to the staff as per your taste.||||Hotel Staff is very courteous and active in all aspects. For example: Parking guard helps you to park your car, we called hotel in the morning for the checkout and the very next moment we saw a guy standing at our door to pick our luggage.||||So overall it was very good stay experience in this hotel. I have recommended this place to one of my friend who was travelling to Leh from Hyderabad and he also liked it very much.||||Note: We have used same hotel 10 days later while coming back to Hyderabad and checked-in around 6PM and checked out next day morning around 6AM

The place is pretty reasonable and the food is great. We were a group of four for the dinner and we had order pretty much enough and we had to pay 1120 which also includes starters and desert. Talking about the cleanliness, The washrooms could have been a little better but it was okay. Not like the public washrooms atleast, The place was not much crowded (We had visited on Rakshabandhan). I am not giving all 5 stars because of the two below mentioned reasons: 1. Restroom, 2. The tables were a bit of higher than usual and they had sofas (and chair also) which were less in height as compared to the table's. I'm 6 ft in height and it was still a little uncomfortable for me to sit on the sofa. So if you pay a visit, Select your table accordingly.

Why I must say it is a one star is because the food here sucks. Absolutely sucks. You can't order a dal and expect it to be average. The chef doesn't know what soup is what and the room service frequently forgets what you ordered. There tandoor works only in the nights a d bless you if you can get the TV to show any channels. It's a shame because the rooms were very and i mean very good. They could have charged more for just the room it's that good. But they don't know the password to their own wifi, the housekeeping will forget what you asked for and even if you ask for milk, they water it down. Brilliant! They managed to mess with things that don't require cooking.

Discovered this place while on a long road trip and wanted to stop-over for the night. Very pleasantly surprised - easy to locate, close to the Highway exit (about 5-7 minutes), no need to get inside the town. |Most important - one looks forward to a good quality food after a day's drive - full marks for a Very Good Vegetarian Meal.
