MPT Malwa Resort, Mandu

MPT Malwa Resort is a serene, lakeside retreat perfect for soaking in the historic charm of Mandu. It offers beautiful views and easy access to Mandu's monuments like Jahaz Mahal and Hindola Mahal etc.||||I stayed in a lake-facing room in the 1st floor --spacious, clean, and full of rustic charm. The room required some upgradation / maintenance. The mornings were peaceful, with birdsong and mist over the water.||||The food was simple but tasty, and the staff were polite, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay.||||The resort's real strength is its tranquil vibe. Whether you're relaxing with tea by the lake or exploring the nearby ruins, the atmosphere is calming and soulful.

The Malwa Resort run by MPT is a lovely place located outside the busy township. The rooms are quite spacious, clean sheets and towels, comfortable bed and a walkin closet. The staff were very polite and helpful.|The morning Buffet breakfast had enough spread to take care of local cuisine and continental.|The Washroom was a bit of a disappointment. The common fitting for head shower, bucket and hand shower were internally leaking leading to unintended fun of selecting any function and getting drenched by head shower.|The dry commode area and wet bath area are not segregated. So once the first person takes bath, the second has to walk on a wet floor.|They provided a full range of toiletieries , which are replenished every day.|You get a nice lake view through the room window.

Located on the bank of a lake this sprawling property will give you a five star feeling. Surrounded by a lot of greenery the resort is very well maintained. All the tourist attractions of Mandu are easily reachable from the resort. The staff is very well trained and friendly. Their restaurant also serves delicious dishes. Overall we had a wonderful time in MP Malwa.

The location of the resort is its biggest strength. It's on the bank of the serene Mandu lake. Staff is very courteous and hospitable. Food and ambience are good. It's lush green with decades old trees which literally covers the whole property. Overall a very decent preposition if you are looking for some good quality quite time.

One of the standout features of the resort is its stunning location. The views from the property are absolutely breathtaking. Speaking of the restaurant, the food was another highlight. Each meal we had was flavorful, satisfying, and presented beautifully. The breakfast buffet also provided a great variety of options. Overall, MPT Malwa Resort exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're visiting Mandu for its historical significance, natural beauty, or just to unwind, this resort provides the perfect base for an enriching and peaceful stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the true essence of Mandu while enjoying top-notch hospitality.

MPT Resort is a bit run-down, unfortunately. It has seen much better days. Rooms are spacious and clean, good a/c, but the shower is terrible, either cold or extremely hot. Restaurant is okay. That said, not expensive, so still value for money

It is a property of MP Tourism. Excellent location on the banks of a huge lake. Has an impressive building. Rooms are organised in two floors. If you do not want to climb stairs opt for floor (starting from 201) and not the first floor floor rooms (starting from 101). The food served is very good, often with at least a couple of local culinary specialities. Being a government run hotel the hotel maintenance is rather poor. The environs of the hotel are excellent.

A beautiful resort right next to the Sagar lake. So much of open space and greenery. The rooms are unbelievably spacious. Glad to see that MPT is retaining the place as it is without choosing to "renovate" and destroy the ambience and atmosphere of the resort. The staff are very courteous and friendly. The restaurant is also really good. Great place to relax and enjoy Mandu.
