Rooms were good and clean. Staff were also helpful and active. It was good stay overall. Rooms might get congested for three in a room. There is no space left in room to even walk after having extra mattress.

Good experience..... Location nearest to Narmada ghat. As they're seller of Maheshwari sarees,dress material no need to go to market for purchase. Rates are reasonable.

We stayed at Hotel Ashray for 3 nights in December 2015. We found the place amazing, its a tiny little place done up very aesthetically with a home-away-from-home feeling. The hosts are amazing and super helpful. If you are not a luxury traveller and look forward to connecting with local people and knowing the stories of the place, this is the perfect place to be. The hosts helped us arrange for a cab to Mandu and a drop at the bus station. It was also a very good experience with the cab owner. Though the rooms weren't luxurious, but they had almost everything that you would need for a comfortable stay and was very nicely done up. Our room was on the ground floor and the window on the backside opened up to a local school and a temple at the backdrop. Its a stone's throw distance from the Ahalya fort and Narmada river.||||I would highly recommend this place if you are planning to visit Maheshwar.
