Best place we've stayed in India! Everything is clean! Like actually clean! And so comfortable! The rooms are spacious and have natural light, but are also fresh and cool inside even when it's hot outside. Screens on all the windows so we never had problems with mosquitoes. Very quiet and peaceful. The sunsets and stars are magical from the rooftop, and you can watch the local kids playing cricket. The garden is pleasant and we had fresh papayas from the tree. We were allowed to use the kitchen anytime we needed, and the homestay also offers delicious food at good prices. The wifi is good: electricity does cut out pretty frequently everywhere in Khajuraho but it generally comes back within a minute or two, and there is good cellphone reception at Prems Homestay so you can back up with data if you're a digital nomad and need to work. The area is about 15 minutes walk from the main road, a pleasant stroll past wheat fields and water buffalos and friendly children all saying hello. It's like stepping into the past, where everything is simple and kind and safe. You can also easily get rickshaws to pick you up if you don't want to walk. The value for money is fantastic, totally worth staying here even if it's a few minutes farther from town. Prems Homestay has two buildings and a range of rooms with different prices. We stayed in the cheapest one and even that was absolutely perfect. We spent 12 days and could happily have stayed more. Mr. Neeraj and Mr. Manu were so attentive and helpful, by the time we left they felt like friends. They cleaned every day, made sure we had everything we needed, and were also super respectful and chill, so I would have felt perfectly comfortable and safe even as a solo female. Mr. Neeraj speaks perfect English and can answer any questions. They were also kind enough to let us do early check-in and late check-out, and even helped us buy our train tickets. 1000% recommend.

Being a solo female traveler I always prefer homestay then hostel,hotel. Host was very good humble honest, the food was very nice they also provided them gardens fruits which is very fresh even vegetables are fresh from them own farm

Very nice homestay in a quiet area, few minutes walk from the main road. There is a common area and a rooftop. It's possible to use the kitchen but the guys that menage the structure can cook also and the food is very good! It's a perfect place to chill! Super recommended!

Prems Home Stay Khajuraho Super quiet. Great Place. Recommended. I ended up here at very short notice, when my hotel started making a lot of noise, cleaning rooms and banging around at 0530 in the morning, before letting in a coachload of 60 guests about 7 O'clock in the morning. The hotel went from nice to bedlam... Time to move on. So, I was shown Prems Home Stay Khajuraho. What a breath of fresh air. Quiet, clean, hot water. Everything was new & serviceable. Every surface was spotless. Nothing was to much trouble. To say, I felt like a valued guest is to understate how helpful & forthcoming the staff were. In particular Sareem. If you fancy a stroll, the Western Temples are twenty minutes. Sareem will organise a motorcycle, a tuk tuk or a car. Again, nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended, solely on their enthusiasm and service.

Clean rooms, hot water.||Nothing was too much bother.||To say,I felt like a valued guest, is to understate how helpful & forthcoming a each & every member of staff was. In particular the owner Sareem.||If you choose to walk. The Western Temples take about 20 minutes. But Sareem will organise a motorcycle, tuk tuk or car. Again, nothing is to much bother.||Highly recommended, jus purely on enthusiasm and service olone.||

We had a great stay here. Excellent service, clean and wonderful rooms, lovely lawn with a small Shiva shrine, nice terrace. The hosts are extremely hospitable. Provided nice breakfast, and even let us use their kitchen for making rice for our child. Location is nice, calm and peaceful, away from the market noise.
