Moustache Khajuraho

We would recommend the place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I hardly recommend the ballad to see the sunset from the mountain - it was amazing The part in the village was a bit less interesting. People from Moustache are sooo nice that I would prefer a little tour ( without handicraft store) with people from the hostel than an external friend. Food took sometimes a bit too long but always tasty and fresh

Select this hotel because was good price and location. Arrive at night, manager organise tuk tuk from train rail way statin, thanks. We pay room with card, but did not check room before pay (it is my fault). But room was very very bad strong smell (smoke or something). We try to use AC and fan, open door, but nothing help to remove smell. We ask manager change room, but new room also smell. We go at night to find new hotel near. After that we ask refund, but manager reject it. We pay here 1800 for 1 night for nothing. Not recommend to stay here

Rooms are way too small - not worth the money - there is no mirror in the room - washroom leaky and even after complaining they didn't fixed it saying this is all we have. -property is very small and old, don't go with the pictures. -the doors were old and broken, not safe from security pov. - took commission for other services like cab booking etc. -insects in the room and clean and maintained properly.

this is a lovely hostel. clean rooms, nice staff, and i really enjoyed the food. the location is great too -- it is in the traditional village part of old khajuraho, take a walk around there and you'll definitely get invited for chai with the locals. lots of activities/transport on offer. easy walk/tuktuk to the temples. thanks for a sweet stay!

Pros. - Easy to find location. - Dorms are cheaper. 200 INR for non AC, comparatively lower than other moustache locations. - Service desk guy was decent, helpful in terms where to go what to do. Cons. - It's bit far away from western group of temples, roughly 1.5 kilometres. - Rooms had some strange smell, and they were small. - I was honestly missing the 'moustache vibe' in this particular hostel. There was hardly anyone apart from four of us in the hostel. Maybe because it's a new property idk.

Affordable hostel with great service and awesome food. The staff and management are very friendly. Hostel is nearby to famous world heritage site Khajuraho Temple.

Great hostel in beautiful Khajuraho, Kapil runs a great place, just 15 minutes walk from the main part of town. Scooter rental lets you see the beautiful surrounding countryside. Highly recommended

Rooms are small. Washroom is not clean. Water is leaking. Washbasin is too small and water is dripping on your foot whenever you open the tap of wash basin. Food is ok. No mirrors on the room. Not exactly how it looks like in the pictures.
