Khajuraho Glory Home stay

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful homestay, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. The space was beautifully decorated, incredibly clean, and perfectly cozy. It truly felt like a peaceful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Immaculate rooms that were really nicely decorated. The cleanest and nicest room we've stayed at in India. The hosts also cook delicious breakfast and dinner. They introduced us to a friendly guide / driver Ashu, who provided a great service at additional cost. Close walk to the temples and main town, but located in a quiet area away from noise.

This place is truly a hidden gem! Offering the best value for money, it stands out for its cleanliness, exceptional service, and overall safety, especially for solo travelers. Mr. Rahul, the owner, goes above and beyond, sharing his vast knowledge about the area and offering great recommendations, from sightseeing in Khajuraho to finding the best spots for shopping and relaxation. It's rare to find such a welcoming and helpful environment, especially for foreign travelers in India. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an affordable, safe, and memorable stay!"

Rahul is a great host for a beautiful home. The family is friendly and kind. Rahul arranged Everything from driver's, guides and tickets to everything I wanted to see. He kept me company and also went out of his way to bring me medicine and hot soup when I was not feeling well. The room I stayed in, was big and the bed was very comfortable. The shower is hot and everything was clean. Don't hesitate to book this place. You'll be glad for the stress free experience.

My friends and I traveled from California to India in November. Khajuraho was our last stop in India. We stayed at Glory and we were so happy to finally find a clean hotel to stay. We had several bad experience through our trip. Rahul and his parents were extremely helpful, and his mom made us delicious food everyday.

They try to sell you a lot of activities with great insistence... Something quite usual, but I don't recommend doing any of them there since overcharges appear quickly both in the food service and in the activities... A couple might have been misunderstandings, but the rest were lies and overcharges that were supposed to be included in others. Other than that, at checkout I was charged an 18% tax (the GST) on all charges . So the excursions, meals or activities become much more expensive than doing them on your own as they take commission (normal) plus the 18% tax... something that should not happen for being a 1800 INR room and the classification of the services. Of course, they do not provide an invoice. Also, there are some pretty weird things about billing. I could not pay through the Agoda booking portal, I only had the option to pay at the hotel. And they don't have a card there, only cash. And to pay by card they have to take you to the brother's business which is quite far away (about 10 minutes by car). In the end we ended up paying because we were in a hurry and, besides, we had also hired the return transport with them.... In short, they are liars and scammers. If you want to avoid any problem, stay away from this home stay. PS: We finished our 4 weeks trip around India. Yes, luckily Rahul was the most dishonest person we encountered in all the trip. It is a pity to have a bad memory of Khajuraho because of this person. Better to avoid this accommodation.
