JiNo Homestay

This place really is amazing! The rooms are very clean, comfortable (especially the mattress) and the owners really do know how to look after guests. They were very kind to us and gave us lots of advice on where to go, eat and also shop. If you are planning to stay in Khajuraho, then this is a very good option.The price per night is very reasonable and it's a 10/15 minute walk to the western group of temples.

Fantastic place, we originally ended up staying here for one night as our original homestay was overbooked for the dance festival and liked it so much we ended up extending our stay for more nights here. I guarentee they have the comfiest mattress in Khajuraho, rooms are spotless and a nice quiet location on the edge of town, but close enough to walk to the Western group of temples. The hosts can be as hands on or off as you like, you can either have food prepared by the family or cook upstairs yourself if you prefer. Tahir and Maddie saw to everything we needed and then some, including lifts into town, shop recommendations and any supplies you might require. We had some very nice clothes made on their recommendation and Tahir also haggled the price down for us. His father is a rickshaw driver so arranged to take us around the eastern group of temples and drop us to the train station for very reasonable prices. We had several lovely evenings on the rooftop around the firepit - chai is free so don't be afraid to ask! Thoroughly recommend for both backpackers looking to unwind and for families. There are only 2 rooms currently but the owners have plans to expand and upgrade. We're really looking forward to coming back and seeing what they do with the place! Forced to use same bedsheet on second day.The gyser does not work properly. Charges extra money

A little gem in India! The hosts are very nice and easy to communicate with. I would love to stay here again. Would reccomend it to others!
