Pugmark Resort

Had an amazing experience at Kanha Pug Mark Resort with my family! The morning and night safaris were absolutely thrilling. Spotted some incredible wildlife, enjoyed the peaceful jungle vibes. The resort has very good service and the staff is amazing. Additionally there is a swimming pool also the environment feels wonderful with lot of greenery and plants. The place is super well-maintained, and the guides really know their stuff, making the whole experience even better. If you're a nature lover or adventure junkie, this is the perfect getaway to refresh your mind and soul. Already thinking about the next trip! Highly recommend it

Over the years, I have stayed across multiple resorts near Khatia Gate, and Pugmark definitely keeps on calling me back. The resort sure gives you the feel of calm, quiet, peaceful life around the jungle, some delicious village food, and relaxing campus, but the clincher for me is the personal attention that Noorul and Rahul offer, catering to every need of the guests in the best possible way. E.g. Once my 2 year old daughter wanted a banana to eat. We went to the kitchen to ask if they had and unfortunately they didn't have any at that time. But within a short while, one of the staff members came to our room to give not only bananas, but some other fruits as well! So someone went to the market to get fruits since our child wanted some! It's gestures like these which win hearts. If you are looking for a luxurious, high-end hotel, then this isn't for you. But if you value family-like treatment, then this is one of the best mid-budget hotels that you might find around Khatia Gate. The hotel also has their own gypsy and Noorul/Rahul can also take you on a safari. Both of them are highly passionate about the jungle and wildlife. The resort also has a new swimming pool, and also some swings and slides in the garden. They have a hammock and some traditional woven cots in an open area where we can sit and relax in the evening.

Pugmark Resort Kanha offers an exceptional experience that truly feels like a home away from home. With outstanding service, delicious food, and a serene, nature-rich environment, it stands out as one of the best stays in the region. The staff's warm hospitality and attention to detail ensure comfort at every step, while the well-maintained property and immersive jungle ambiance make it a perfect retreat for both relaxation and adventure. I have visited Pugmark more than 4 times now and if any time I m in Kanha I m not going to choose any other place as Pugmark is home away from home

This resort felt like a natural home away from home. I was so impressed with the level of comfort and attention to detail. My stay was perfect. The staff were exceptional - friendly, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile.

The Resort was hardly a few minutes away from Khatiya Gate at a wonderful location. The ambience of the Resort was lovely matching with the nature vibes, the rooms were spacious and very clean , and the food was really good and homely. Special mention was the hospitality of the owner, his family, the in house Naturalist and the staff, it felt like home.

We recently stayed at Pugmark resort, and while the property itself was nice, the food was a huge letdown. The meals lacked flavor, the ingredients didn't seem fresh, and the variety was minimal. We tried multiple dishes, hoping for improvement, but it was consistently disappointing. To make matters worse, the service in the dining area was slow, and the staff didn't seem very attentive to feedback about the food. For the price we paid, we expected much better quality and taste. If food is a big part of your vacation experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Those who love nature, jungle, siting wild cats & other animals should visit Kanha & stay only at Pug Mark resort. One should experience their Hospitality, delicious food & ambiance.

Highly recommended for those who love nature. Excellent service. Rooms and mainly bathrooms are too good. Love this resort. The owner of this resort has fine taste. The wall paintings, photographs, abstract painting all these are very nice and delicate. Food is also very fresh and nicely cooked, but a little bit expensive. Anyway, our overall experience is very good and satisfying. One thing more , one must try their lemon grass tea. It is so refreshing.
