The staff is very helpful and polite. Food is also very good. The only problem I experienced was with rooms, it started raining and the rain water was pouring inside rooms. We had trouble sleeping at night. Bugs are also a big problem during rain.

it is present on boundary of kanha buffer zone. the property is well maintained and equipped with modern amenities in spacious room. a beautiful swimming pool gives a cool bath after returning from tired and dusty jungle safari. if you are a nature lover, then tell the manager "sahid" to assist you to go up- to the river bank just 200 meter away, sit on rocks and enjoy the nature. if enough lucky then you may sight animals drinking water. i have sighted a male tiger just opposite of this river. so never dare to cross the river.|if you have kids then many opportunities are for them to pass time.|food is little bit costly. but tasty.|young boys are in service to you. they are from nearest villages. never expect a fives tar treatment from them but you can expect a soft and heart full of respect..

One of the added charms to visit a National park lies in a fact that, one gets a chance to stay close to virgin nature, to sleep in complete serenity, to count the countless stars in the clear sky and unique surroundings to feel the absolute silence. Yes the silence, which may get disturbed by some roaring voice of wilderness, but definitely not by the sound of annoying family drama of a daily soap. I really wonder that is it possible to feel this complete calmness in our lives? This is what I always cherish whenever I get the chance to stay near a national park.||||How to reach?||||Kanha National Park and Tiger Reserve have three entry points; one is through the Mukki gate, another one is recently opened gate Serai and the third is Kisli gate which is best accessed from Jabalpur and stops at the village Khatia, in the buffer area. Khatia is around 175 km and Mukki is around 210 km from Jabalpur.||||Places to see||||Kanha National Park and Tiger Reserve, Wildlife.||||Where to stay?||||During my visit to "Kanha National Park" (Madhya Pradesh, India), I got a chance to stay in "Vanya Resort" which is in village Khatia and situated at a walking distance from the entrance of the National Park. Nestled in the midst of greenery this resort offers a wonderful experience to rejuvenate yourself by all means. Courteous staff and very helpful management were ready to offer any possible help to make my stay more pleasurable. The rooms were spacious and clean. They nicely maintained dining area and well equipped kitchen. What I liked especially was their finger-licking food. The manager was himself a nature enthusiast and wild life lover. He gave me good information about surrounding area specially the tribal community that lives in the nearby village. I have pleasant memories of this resort and would love to visit again.||||What to eat?||||There are few eating joints near the main entrance of the park that too were very basic. So it's a good idea to stick to your hotel at-least for dinner.

Beautiful location just in the midst of jungle.. calmness and quitness at its peak ,I guess it's in bufferzone ..And if you're lucky enough you could hear the roar of tigers..btw we did night safari the same night we arrived and how Lucky we were that we could see the tiger.. location is good of vanya resort walking distance to reach khatia gate.. amazing experience would definitely visit again for sure..

Best resort and best holiday ever. Food was mind-blowing. Scenery from balcony was heavenly and we could hear and see spotted deer alarm calls from there and it was the most thrilling experience. Staff is super friendly. overall 5 star resort.

I enjoyed my stay at Vanya Resort where we stayed at night as we had to go to the Jungle Safari tomorrow. They provided us with best accommodations you can get in Kanha. They had swimming pool, parking space, menus in different qualities. All and all we had a blast there.

I enjoyed my stay at the 3-star hotel that I booked which had enough space for my family to stay. They also provided accommodations like refrigerator, 24/7 room service. We also had a jungle safari at Kanha National Park which we pre-planned while booking the hotel. I am delighted and thankful to them.
