Hotel Shri-Nivas

I think this one of the better place for staying near Itarsi junction..the sevice and the behaviour are so good at the price point...I booked a AC room cost 1000 and for price this is the best option you can choose ..also in ground floor you find his own restaurant for food at reasonable price... overall you can choose this...

It's food supply in the train,is awesome, very tasty food and prompt service. varieties of vegetarian food at Reasonable prices. Food is well covered and fresh. Delivery is on time, right at your seat. Staff is well behaved. Its "lge ghr jaisaa", claim is true .I don't forget to order my meals when crossing Itarsi.

I stayed at this hotel while on official trip to the town, the hotel was recommended by one of my colleagues, the stay was not a bad stay.||||I got feel of old style lodge, where the rules are very traditional, like:||1. 100% advance payment (although I was not asked to deposit advance payment for the stay)||2. No room service between 10 pm to 7 am (but I got a cup of tea in the morning at 6am, they got the tea for me from road side tea stall and it was a great tea)||||If you are an age old traveler and have experienced old style of hotel stays at small towns, this place will certainly make you feel nostalgic.||||They have very few rooms, rooms are maintained, clean and tidy. Do not expect any toiletries in the bathroom. Food is simply amazing and a very close match to home made food.||||Checkin and checkout are smooth, absolutely no problem. Since, the hotel is very close to railway station and Itarsi is one of the busiest junction of the country, you will find it difficult to sleep in the night as trains are continuously passing from the station. and if you are lucky enough to sleep somehow, you will get a wake-up call by the morning prayer at nearby temple.||||This hotel is certainly recommended if you stay in Itarsi. A good value for money.

The location of this place is just near to bus stop and railway station. They offer very good food. This is also known by all the local peoples here. Room is more than expected, it was big. There are lofts of eating place on walking distance. Room service was there. RO water was free of cost.

I travel to Hoshangabad District in Madhya Pradesh quite often on official work. Every time, I have stayed in Itarsi in Hotel Shri-Nivas located on the Station Road just opposite Itarsi Railway Station. The rooms are of decent size with spacious and clean washrooms, and all the required amenities that make ones' stay very comfortable. The food served is pure vegetarian and is extremely tasty. The staff members of the Hotel are very helpful and hospitable. Given the overall quality in terms of amenities and service, the Hotel is very reasonably priced.

Hotel Shri Nivas is a pretty decent place to stay in a small town like Itarsi. They have an in house restaurant too that serve authentic Indian cuisines and serves as room service as well. Located just in front of Itarsi Railway Station, the hotel is easily accessible and affordable too. I have stayed there for one night only but everything is fine with the room.

Itarsi is not the sort of place where you would choose for an extended stay, and the options available are somewhat limited, so the Shri Nivas is a welcome addition to the hotel scene here. The rooms are clean and well-kept, and at least some have air-conditioning. The main drawback is that the station is almost directly opposite, and with trains passing throughout the night (not to mention the road traffic), this means that sleep will almost inevitably be interrupted. My room at the front of the hotel was fully exposed to the noise; rooms at the back of the hotel may be a little quieter, but I would be surprised if they are significantly more restful.||||Not a place for a quiet weekend, but decent enough for transit purposes.
