The golden palace

Stayed at Hotel Golden Palace for a short business trip. The location is super convenient--very close to Gwalior Railway Station and local markets. The room was clean and spacious with basic amenities. Staff was polite and check-in was smooth. Room service could be a bit faster, and the TV wasn't working properly, but overall it was a decent stay for the price. Great option for budget travelers looking for comfort and accessibility.

Poor Service and Lack of Accountability I had a very disappointing experience with Hotel Golden Palace. I was charged for an early check-in, which I agreed to, but the real issue began when I requested an invoice for the payment. Despite multiple calls and follow-ups, the hotel management has been unresponsive and failed to provide the invoice. It's extremely unprofessional to charge customers for a service and then refuse to issue proper documentation. This kind of behavior raises serious concerns about transparency and customer care. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hassle-free and trustworthy experience.

Affordability & location are their big winners but if they improve service, smile at least once, from security guard to room service to reception, things can improve vastly (but seeing other reviews, I doubt if they wish to, at all)! We stayed one short night, and left dodge in a hurry so no harm. As a tourist, what's more important is being welcomed than just the right-price! No geysers in toilets by the way. I wonder what budget they assumed for each room . Parking is kerb-side and no dedicated space.

Hostile environment...Dont go to this hotel...there are many good hotels nearby...totally unfriendly staffs

Worst service ever, No hot water in the shower, no proper service, dirty washrooms, rude behaviour of staff, no stand on their commitment...

The size of the room was ok and manageable. A good thing about this hotel is that they charged us reasonably for the stay and you will find autos outside the hotel. But room service and hospitality is zero here. Even after repeated reminders, except for water they wouldn't provide you with toiletries and morning tea accessories. They have provision for paid food too but the dishes in their menu is heavily charged.

Food and service is horrible. Quality of food is pathetic. They use substandard food indigrends. Oil used is palm oil very bad for health. Milk is not the real milk. Kindly do your due diligence if you are booking. My suggestion is to avoid this hotel for ceremony and parties. Thanks. Yeah they are cheaters, will promise everything while booking and will not provide anything.
