MPT Tansen Residency, Gwalior

MPT Tansen Residency is situated in the heart of the city and everything is easily accessible. This was my second stay in this property and had a lovely stay. Rooms are decently furnished and it has its old charm. However, the highlight of the stay was food. We had booked breakfast and had a hearty breakfast. The breakfast offered a modest selection but very suitable to all age groups. The breakfast option included local selections like bedmi poori and poha which was the highlight of the meal. The staff was very couteous and eager to help.

Nice and clean rooms... very convenient location near railway station... food quality and taste is very good... maintained by MP Government... staff is courteous... overall a nice place to stay... not luxurious but good

I stayed in this hotel in March 2025. They stay was good. The rooms were neat and clean. The staff was courteous & efficient and provided excellent service. The hotel is located right in center of Gwalior and visiting various attractions is easy from here. We even went to Mitawali. Bata shower and Garhi from here

Very good location , access from the main road of Gwalior. Very spacious, ample space for parking , green and clean environment. Rooms are quite spacious but the attached bathroom was small and lacked certain amenities. Check in & check out - both were smooth and prompt. Staff are helpful and courteous.

Me and my husband on our way back from MP trip decided to stop at Gwaliar and chose MPT Tansen Regency for our stay of 2 days. This turned out to be an amazing experience. Not only is this place well maintained and definitely justfies the cost, the staff, food, room and restaurant service is no less than any 4* property. We were nicely welcomed by Mr. Prateek Singh at the reception who was a thorough gentleman and guided us very well about the city. The dinner was excellent and the live Ghazal program by Mr. Rajendra Pareekh was a real pleasure that really made our evening. We finally met the regional Manager Mr. Nitin Katare who himself came to us asking about our stay and turned out to be very welcoming and a person full of knowledge. This place is 100% goto place. Glad to see that MP Government is taking great initiatives to improve tourism.

Beautiful hotel situated near railway station and easily accessible. Check in process was smooth and morning breakfast is complimentary which was also good. Rooms are big and clean washroom were well sanitized.

MPT TANSEN RESIDENCY, GWALIOR is undoubtedly a prime property of MPT ( MADHYA PRADESH TOURISM) with very decent rooms & sufficient parking space. It is located on Gandhi road at a very premier place and there are open spaces all around the hotel ,which really gives a great feeling. The executives at Reception are very polite and very professional & so is the staff of Room Service and House Keeping. ||Besides this, there is Regional office of MPT in the Hotel compound and the staff here ,again, is very helpful and willing to share the information about any hotel/ resort under MPT in entire M.P. We were on road trip with family. Decided to stay first time in any MPT property. Little worried about government hotels initially. But this MPT property surprised us . Nice rooms, staff very attentive, food tasty.|Specifically Manager mr kataria , front desk Ms Kamini , and other staff all were very attentive.|Also we are impressed by live musical performance at dinner time.||2 nights stay full board |With kids ( kids loved this place )
