Hotel Sudarshan

I recently stayed at Hotel Sudarshan in Gwalior and had a mixed experience. The hotel is conveniently located near major attractions like the Gwalior Fort, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a home-like atmosphere. However, the check-in manager was initially reluctant to accept the late check-out offer I availed through MakeMyTrip, which was a bit disappointing. I did not use the Wi-Fi or parking, so I can't comment on those aspects. The bathroom curtain was not clean, and it was difficult to latch the door. The restaurant was not family friendly as it had an attached bar, as informed by the check-in manager. I availed their room service facility for food, which was great. However, when I took a parcel on the day of check-out, the food was average. Overall, the hotel has potential, but there are areas that need improvement.

Economical and very decent hotel. Fast service. Reasonably priced food. Clean bathrooms. Clean Linen and towels. Provides more value than your money and the view of the fort. And don't forget to order the takeaway food for further journey. Your fellow travellers will salivate and admire the spread....!

I had a really nice stay here. The staff was very humble and helpful. The rooms were clean, the bed and the towels were fresh and clean. They have a common geyser installed which have hot water(a basic necessity for winter). The best part is for some rooms they have an extra dressing space. The food was quite good! You can also catch no 4 riksha fare of 10rs to reach station. Their security staff is really humble was touched by their gesture they helped us with the right information about the local transportation.

First things first- it's a good budget hotel that is well maintained and operated. The checkout time is 24 hours and food is decent. Location is pretty much central and you get abundant conveyance to all corners of the town. You just have to step out. Service too is quick. Now lets come to the not so amazing part- it is located right on a busy road, so you hear vehicles honking all the time. The road noise is less in the back rooms but there is a bigger issue, the kitchen exhaust fan. The massive fan makes noise like a huge drone over your head. It is on till midnight since the hotel also has a bar and a restaurant. Talking about bar, the guys on the reception have the attitude of pub bouncers - rude and apathetic. So peace loving folks, you can give it a miss. Budget lovers, no second thought.

Hotel is good for Stay, located in the main city. Room size is too big and can accommodate 3. Service is too good, Price are reasonable.

Value for money. Big room with sofa, air conditioning, changing room, balcony. Attached bathroom with hot water facility. Room service, restaurant,bar,escalator. affordable price. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are decent with required amenities, if you are going to check-In in night then you have to call their People just because they used to close the gates may be for security reason
