Dera Haveli Heritage Homestay

This is one of the best stays I ever had in India. The building and rooms are full of charm. The roof terrace provides a good view towards the fort. Really nice and super helpful staff. I will definitely come back. I would give more stars if I could

An excellent hotel! Everything needed is in the room: water, kettle, tea....towels....|Bathroom is super clean with shampoo and toilet paper and warm water. A dream for travelers. Staff is absolutely kind, helpful, professional. I would warmly recommend that place to anybody visiting Gwalior. This place is a big yessss.

Sohan and Rahul who are in charge of the customer service are very efficient and kind. That is the main point of our stay in this haveli whose charm comes from old age style, of course. Having breakfast and dinner on the terrace facing the Fort is a pleasure. We didn't get the best room as we booked the room late. The bathroom and toilet were not in the room. The room (101) was noisy in the evening as it is next to an apartment( walls are thin).

Beautiful homestay in a calm area of Gwalior, from where you can reach all the main monuments on foot or by a tuctuc. The building is cozy and has a rooftop from where you can see most of the city. The rooms are wide, as well as the bathroom. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast (included) and dinner (optional) are served inside the room, and you can either eat inside or outside of the room. The staff is kind and helpful. Suggested!

We had a very short stay at Dera Havelli to break up our journey from Indore to Agra. The staff were very welcoming despite the late hour or our arrival and our room was very clean and comfortable. The highlight was breakfast on the roof terrace watching the sun rise over the fort. Weren't able to explore Gwalior but would stay again if visiting.

Great heritage place in a small alley off the main road. Large, nicely furnished rooms. My room ( top floor) had a small private balcony but the best is the large roof terrace with view of the Gwalior Fort. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially Sohan who went out of his way to make my stay comfortable. Food is also very good, you have to preorder. WiFi worked reliably, enough sockets in the room to charge your devices.

It was a great experience staying in a hundred year old haveli, that too in the centre of the city. Further, the stay was made beautiful by two young men Sohan and Rahul. Breakfast was good. We had bread, butter, cut fruits, eggs, Bananas and Tea.

Such an incredible stay. The Homestay is very well located and in a chill street. Rooms very nice and clean, service impeccable and people very friendly (Sohan amazing guy). We ordered breakfast twice and it was really good.|Fantastic terrace to chill at night with a view on the Gwalior fort.
