City Grand Hotel

Stayed here for one day during my road trip in January first week. The place is in main city area so expect crowd in day time. Very big space for car parking. Room are big but condition of rooms are okay okay type. According to me its a good hotel in affordable price.

This hotel is extremely dirty. They pay zero attention to cleanliness. No towels, toilet paper in the bathroom. When we asked for towels, they brought stinky towels. Everything is covered in dust. This hotel is worse than a dharamsala.

Lovely hotel and staff. Breakfast was enjoyable and had a good selection with attentive staff. Received good recommendations for food. The room was clean with the essentials.

Hotel is in a good location exactly opposite to Old High court. Rooms are near & clean with all basic amenities. They have restaurant which serves both veg and Non veg.

Value for money! And the location is great...

Stayed here at the luxury suite.no attention to detail.unclean laundry and bedsheets.when we arrived at the hotel no hand towels or toilet papers.bathroom drainage was blocked pus they ran out of hot water. the service was quick but all in all bad experience.

We (both senior citizens) booked a room on the second floor for 2 days on 5.6.23. At 8 pm (see the time)manager called us and asked us to change the room for the reason better known to him. One employee came to us and told us because of the marriage of minister's daughter marriage they need our room for his crew and showed us a room in 4th floor which was very very hot, suffocating and not cleaned for long. I felt like vomiting after entering the room. When we refused to change, the manager asked to vacate the room next day and check out over phone. He didn't even came to our room. Though we refused to do either to the employee, but then decided to check out next day. The manager was very rude to us. Though employees and receptionist said sorry but we had a horrible experience. Further there was no one to receive you at the hotel. Go straight to reception. It's difficult to park and take out your car from the very congested parking they provide. Wait atleast for half an hour for tea in your room. No kettle. During breakfast they serve tea in plastic coated paper cups and water in very thin plastic glass.

The place is a little bit away from railway station, but can be easily reachable via autos or cabs. There's a person to greet and they are super friendly. They have a very nice seating arrangement near the reception area. The rooms are good and spacious and reasonably rated. They don't there own dining area but they provide room services and the food is very very good. The rooms are clean but not super clean that's why giving 4 star. If you still want to have dinner in seating area, there's a restaurant in the 1st floor of the same building. You can go there and enjoy the food.
