Hotel Ambar and Holiday Resort

The hotel rooms are a bit old fashioned. It feels like we are living in our grandparents' house. Those who like that feeling, this is your place to stay! The service is amazing. The staff is incredibly helpful. The owners themselves are generous and kind.

Good location you can access the bus and train from here within a few minutes The rooms are a bit old school but I liked it in price after staying there for a day...they should have given me the 5 to 10 percent discount. Wall portraits and paintings are good I must say.

We stayed in cottage and interiors are poor. No toilet paper in washroom. Although property is cleaned but really needs renovation, it feels like living in 50years old house. The coffee I ordered had insect leg in it. I doubt hygiene is maintained hence didn't order anything after having pathetic experience.

This is not a conventional hotel so don't expect it to be anything other than quirky. One stays in cottages in a garden which also serves as a restaurant, so it isn't the quietest place to be, but has much charm. The owner was kind enough to take us round the city of Burhanpur which was fantastic as he knows so much about it (I think he probably has trained all the guides) and it is a fascinating place. Our dinner in the garden complete with live music was charming as well. Rooms were simple but adequate.

This was a very pleasant hotel; there was a lovely small garden. The restaurant is particularly good. The room was fine with a fan if you felt warm. The service was very good as well. We stayed for just one night but if you were wanting to spend more time in burhanpur it would be a good place to stay.

The night we arrived the owner of the hotel has welcomed us personally, with all his heart. We had dinner in the garden. The dinner was excellent, plenty of dishes, all of them delicious!||||During dinner we were lucky to hear Indian music, in which we were introduced to the Raga, and it was so beautiful!||||The owner of the hotel took the time to guide us in the city and its monuments. He is very knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about showing the monuments in Burhanpur and relating us its history.||||Rooms are clean and comfortable.||||Recommended hotel, especially when en route from Aurangabad - Ajanta Caves to Maheshwar.

I was part of a 9 pepole group/ We arrived at 22:00 after very lonf deive from ellora.||The owner greated us warmlly and a traditional indian musical prefomance + good dinner including israeli salad which he saw in Google. the rooms were good with hot water. In the morning the owner guided us in the city.

The hotel is located just center in city of burhanpur. The hotel offers a limited secured parking for free. The hotel staff is very friendly and offers a lot of information about the city.( what to do, where to eat, how to get there, local tips etc.) You have several options to get to the city area: You can go by rikshow, The room was modern, spacious and very clean.even of good quality in the room. You can also use for free a fitness and sauna (on the other side of the road) and several swimming pools at a resort ( 100m from the hotel) The Lunch was good and dinner had an extensive choice. So, in short, the excellent quotes confirmed. we would definitely recommend.I love it this place thank you so much HOTEL AMBER AND HOLIDAY RESORT.
