Room sizes are best But Lift not working Inverter not available Gyser hot water issue , Cleaning service not maintained

Very bed experience to stay at Ambika residency. Bed sheet to dirty. Room was very smaily. The staff behaviour are very rude. Total waste of money. I can't recommend to anyone to stay.

Rooms were spacious but extremely dirty. Had to ask for the bedsheets and pillow cases to be changed as they were soiled from the previous guests. I am a foreigner that stayed here, the staff knocked on our door 5 times in 4 hours to ask for selfies with us. One guy even claimed that he needed to check the a/c and take photos of it but in reality it was to take photos of us and our belongings. Hey also asked for our phone numbers and then repeatedly messaged us asking us to come to their bar with them. Weird vibe. Definitely wouldn't stay again, pay the few INR extra and stay somewhere better

Very well furnished centrally located hotel... But Lacks maintenance... room were not cleaned.. could see spider webs all around. Full of dust.. staff doesn't cleans the rooms properly.. bed sheet were stained. The hotel staff did not even cared to clear the old used toiletries.

I had booked this for 2 days but I left the hotel on same day due to bad condition of rooms, no help from staff, no hot water, dirty bed sheets, dirty accessories (you can check photos for the same). Even the room was smelly. In the morning when I arrived, 4-5 people were sleeping on the floor, 2 of them with no shirts. This was a very pathetic scene (imagine if any female had arrived at that time). Later, I requested the reception for change of room but they told the entire hotel rooms are occupied. Even though I could see a couple of empty rooms (where cleaning was going on). The breakfast I ordered- Paratha which was very spicy. Then at lunch I ordered Butter chicken, which had no butter instead the chicken was floating in the oil. When I separated the oil it was half a glass quantity. Shall never return here.

The deluxe rooms (on 2nd floor) are absolutely amazing! Neat, clean and very well maintained. The normal rooms (on 1st floor) though are not clean. The hotel is located right on the main road and opposite to it is an autorickshaw stand. So finding an autorickshaw is easy. The staff at the reception are really cooperative and consider your request if you wish to postpone your checkout time (at no additional cost). The hotel has its own restaurant which is a big positive. The food is just mouth watering! We tried chicken tandoori, chicken handi and jeera rice, and each item was delicious.

Excellent room. Service can be improved, specifically morning tea /coffee needs to be available either through service or self help in the room.
