Citrus Prime Hotel & Resorts Bhopal

Visited Citrus Hotel, Bhopal for a dinner party and had a wonderful experience. The event space was well-arranged, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the food was quite impressive -- a good mix of taste and presentation. I also had a chance to check out the rooms for a potential future stay. They were neat, modern, and comfortable, with all essential amenities in place. The overall vibe of the property is pleasant, and the staff seemed attentive and courteous throughout. Keeping this hotel in mind for both events and future stays. A great option in Bhopal!

I stayed at this hotel for a night during my All India Road Trip. Hotel has ample parking space and is on the highway probably on the outskirts of Bhopal City. Hotel is well maintained. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. I felt the rooms were a bit old but it was not bad. It was well maintained. Linen and towels appeared old and need to be replaced. Restaurant is on first floor and is accessible only through lift. We were on first floor room and to go to restaurant we had to pass through lift which had doors opening on both sides. A bit unique but not inconvenient. Food was ok. Breakfast spread was satisfactory. But the food had turned cold as food container lids were kept open. Staff were friendly and courteous. Overall a comfortable stay at this hotel.

During my recent visit to Bhopal , I had to stay at Citrus Prime as no other was available due the investors summit which was happening in Bhopal.||The hotel is located the service road of a busy highway next to Toyota Showroom and is easily accessible . So the traffic noise is there in the room especially at night.||The Hotel staff is quite courteous and helpful. I had booked the Prime Room . The room was spacious and had all the basic amenities . The bathroom was spacious and had a bath tub too. |However, cleanliness needs to be taken care of by the hotel on priority as there were water stain on the taps.||The restaurant is on the 1st floor . The breakfast was satisfactory and the spread was also adequate. The rooftop bar is situated on the and the view is amazing from there.||One can easily get Ola/uber cabs from the hotel.||Will I stay here again well that time will tell....

I had booked a room at Citrus Prime through MakeMyTrip. When I reached the hotel, they told me they hadn't received my booking. I had to stand there waiting and calling MakeMyTrip customer care. After wasting a lot of time, they finally said the room I booked wasn't even available. I was left with no choice but to pay extra to upgrade. It was either that or leave -- after already travelling and reaching there tired. Even after paying more, the room I got was not worth the money at all. For 4000 a night, I expected something better. The room was basic, the bathroom was below average, and honestly, you can find much better rooms for 1000-1500 in Bhopal itself. Only plus point was that parking is available and they have a lift, but inside the room, amenities were bare minimum. Definitely not what they show online. The hotel staff was polite, but the management is poor. There is no proper coordination between the hotel and MakeMyTrip. The whole experience was stressful when it should have been smooth. My simple advice: either book somewhere else, or if you still book here, call the hotel directly after booking to confirm everything yourself. Otherwise, you might end up stuck like I did. Overall, very disappointing. Definitely not value for money.

The hotel is situated on the service road of a busy highway on one side of the town so it should be chosen if one has business on that side of town although conveyance is available (cabs and public bus). Rooms are comfortable sized. Linen is clean and toiletries are of the normal standard for such a hotel. Overall the hotel is clean with decent well behaved staff. Food quality is average.

The first impression was bad. The room was dirty. The toilet not cleaned after previous visitors. Dirty linen. Not plain old, with washed-out stains. DIRTY. With dried... better not think about what it was.|We didn't want to make a problem, we just left notes the next day to a staff, as to what was wrong. And after returning from a tour of Bhimbetka, the room.... may not have been sparkling, but the progress was immense. The bedding seemed to have been used for the first time (thank you, simply washed would have sufficed; In no hotel in the world have we seen a cleaner one). And still the staff were asking, making sure everything was good (se this time we left a little tip on a bed).|Also in the restaurant there was a very helpful staff. Food... well, a matter of taste. We love Indian flavours, very spicy cuisine too. But here already 2 floors from the restaurant in the corridor the smell of garlic was overpowering. The very courteous staff invited, recommended.... I asked for something without garlic/with small amount of it. After a brief hesitation we were told that there was no such thing. So we had some bread and tomatoes with onions and cucumber. But the cooks quickly heated for us up some noodles with vegetables, and tofu, without garlic. Thank you, it was very kind.|Across the street is some sort of disco, or there was a wedding - there was a VERY noisy music. But it very culturally ended at a reasonable hour. It's just that in the hotel in the next room we had some creatures who were not so cultured. They screamed all night, we didn't get a wink of sleep. We have not seen them, we speculate that it may be some species of howler monkeys. We face our last night here. If you don't hear from us again, it means we couldn't stand it and went to war against them to get at least a few hours' rest before our next flight.

Most pathetic hotel and will never like to stay. No service, breakfast pathetic. Washroom shower not working, flush not working, tea cattle now working. No equipment of GYM only name sake GYM made. AC in restaurant is absolutely useless, staff not wanting to pay attention to the requirement
