The property is located in the buffer zone and designed in a very creative way, such that the feel of living in a forest is maintained while also including the necessary aesthetics and comfort that one would look for. The rooms are clean and spacious and designed keeping the local architecture and culture in mind. There is a small pool and sit out overlooking a water body in the forest, if you are lucky you can get to some extra sightings from the property itself.||The hospitality of this place is just outstanding. The property is managed by 2 resident naturalist who share a lot of insights on the forest and wildlife and will provide you with all necessary guidance to make the best of your trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful and will always greet you with a smile. ||To top it all the food at Sacchurum was very impressive. They serve a huge spread every meal, ensuring that the dietary requirements of each and every guest is taken care of. We were there for 4 days and we were served very different cuisines every single meal, each being equally delicious. The chef here is truly outstanding!!

The property is fantastic as the greenery is preserved and looks like you are in the jungle itself. The rooms are large and well done up with local architecture and modern amenities. The highlight though is the staff - Par Excellence. The two resident naturalists share a lot of insights about the forest and the wildlife as well as their own experiences which brings you closer to nature. The chef is just outstanding and while a wide variety of cuisines were served to us across the 4 days we were there, the taste was consistently phenomenal. The warmth and excellent hospitality of the entire team makes you feel completely at home while being in the lap of nature.||About the forest: Kanha for me is one of the most stunning forests in India. Due to its altitude and lush foliage, even in peak summer (1st week of May) we had to use blankets in the morning safari. A healthy population of big cats and other animals make it great from a sighting perspective as well.

Beautiful accommodation. Comfortable and generous. Hosted magnificently by the owners, Wasim and Ratna, catered to by the talented and creative chef, and looked after by lovely, friendly staff ... this is an easy 5 star recommendation. Close to the Mukki Gate of Kanha - our safari experience in this reserve was also 5 stars

Lovely spacious room in a beautiful setting. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. The wifi is really only available in the dining room, but it's a comfortable place to hang out while online. There are several attractive places to relax in a hammock in the grounds and listen to the noise of the brook. You should definitely stay here if you are doing a safari in Kanha.

Excellent luxury safari lodge at the edge of the wilderness in Kanha national park. It is located near the Mukki gate. The managers and staff are amazing. Their hospitality and exceeding warmth are amazing. They make you feel at home. This resort helps in uplifting the society around by employing locals and women and having them trained really well. The property is at the outskirts of the forest and is full of lush greenery and wildlife. It boasts a clean pool overlooking a lake which is paradise for bird lovers. Common areas have wifi and this is the perfect place to unwind. The food is extraordinary and consists of unique meals each day curated by the chef. They offer a nature walk and several memorable experiences. You will not be disappointed. If booking safaris from here, make sure all evening safaris are mukki zone while the morning can be kanha or kisli. As morning safari is longer, it is easier to cover the zonee further away while mukki is convenient in the shorter evening safari.

In all my hospitality years, I have never come across a property with a team so genuinely hospitable, loving and generous. Saccharum Safari lodge was more than just a lodge/hotel for me, Rather an Insight into the way of life of a beautiful forest community. The property, located beautifully at the border of the Kanha forest buffer zone creates the experience of living in the forest. Our cottages were tastefully done and had all the amenities for a very comfortable stay. Chef Akshendra's cooking was of the highest quality with meals ranging from local Madhya Pradesh fare to international favorites. Our host, Ratna helped orchestrate our days beautifully and was kind enough to share tales and wisdom from her time in the forest. Words aren't enough to describe how lovely those 4nights/5days were. One of the best resort stays i have had in India. I was able to contact the owner Wasim through email/Whatsapp and he was able to arrange taxi transfers, safari booking etc for us. He is extremely polite and also he is an expert naturalist who knows a lot about the Kanha forest. He was also able to get the tatkal (on a short notice) bookings for safaris. He also personally guided us on two of the safaris. The location of the resort is right next to the buffer zone, so it is extremely peaceful and you feel like you are living directly in the jungle. One of the best locations you can have while staying in this area. The staff is incredible. They are extremely polite and devoted to giving you perfect service. Sometimes the attention felt a bit too much as we are not used to getting so much attention The wifi you only get in dining, reception and lounge areas. So you also get a digital detox during the stay. The biggest highlight was the food. Chef Akshendra was brilliant and prepared fresh meals all the time. The food felt homemade with minimal use of oil/butter and also not too spicy like in restaurants. As the ingredients were fresh, the taste was incredible. I think this contributed to around half of our positive experience. The rooms are basic and have the necessary amenities. I feel that the prices for the rooms are a bit high, however due to higher prices you get lesser visitors and thus it makes the stay peaceful. So I guess it is a balance between mass tourism or sustainable tourism with some price premium. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful stay in the middle of nature and don't mind spending a bit more. You wont regret spending.

It's really unlikely to find a forest lodge that ticks all the boxes. Whether it's the seamless booking, organization of slots to go for game drives and sightings, have extremely experienced conservationists and coupled with a fabulous, comfortable, luxurious stay which brings with it a keen eye for sustainability. ||Not only was the entire experience stellar; it left me and my friends with memories of a lifetime. Every conversation with the resort staff was one that brought to the fore their deep understanding of guest expectations and hospitality. ||The food, the decor, the bonfire and the pool (which we wish we had the time to dip into) were all moulded into the whole experience of being in a forest. ||Can't wait to go back with the family!
