We visited Maiher Restaurant while returning from Prayagraj, and it was a terrible experience. The food was completely tasteless, with very limited options that lacked any flavor. The service was equally disappointing. To make matters worse, they started filming us for their social media promotions without our permission. Even after we objected, they continued recording, which was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Such behavior is unacceptable in any restaurant. Overall, the food quality, service, and ethics of this place are very poor. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal or a decent dining experience. They use plastic use and throw utensils to serve food.

I recently visited Maihar Hotels and Family Restaurant, located conveniently on the National Highway en route to Katni. While the place has some positive aspects, there are notable drawbacks that need serious attention. Pros: The restaurant boasts a neat and clean environment, which enhances the overall dining experience. The ambience is pleasant, making it a comfortable spot for travelers and families alike. Its location on the highway makes it an ideal stop for a quick refreshment break during long journeys. Cons: Unfortunately, the service experience was highly disappointing. The staff struggled to manage the crowd efficiently. The billing counter, in particular, was painfully slow. The individuals handling billing were multitasking -- printing bills and processing payments simultaneously -- resulting in long waiting times. The lack of a streamlined system was frustrating. Moreover, the service model seemed chaotic; I had to personally visit the kitchen area to collect my order. Tables were often left uncleared, requiring guests to repeatedly call staff members for cleaning and order updates. Conclusion: Maihar Hotels and Family Restaurant must significantly improve its service quality. Faster billing processes, better staff coordination, and enhanced hygiene maintenance are crucial. Implementing an efficient point-of-sale (POS) system and training staff to handle peak-hour rush would drastically enhance customer satisfaction. With these improvements, the restaurant has the potential to become a reliable stop for travelers seeking both good food and efficient service.
Worst service experience. Waited for 15 minutes for the table. The staff took 20 mins to clean the table. When questioned about the service the management responded rudely. The waiter brought the curry first and brought the roti much later. Took very long to bring us the water bottles too. Poor hygiene standards. The waiter himself was showing us that the crockery was not fit for consumption and that's why they were using paper plates.
Located right on NH 30. Stopped here for having lunch. Food appeared good and service was good. Washrooms are in horrible state. Updating my review after a week, I suffered from serious food poisoning next day. Please avoid this place!!
The experience of very poor and very bad. When we order the food we have to wait 30 min. We have ordered the dal and dal was over cooked. Then for billing we have to wait for 20 min. The cleanness was very bad and glass was dust, not clean. The waiter was talking with us rudely and giving the plate with rudely. The taste was very bad. Experienced is very bad do not go to that place. I will not go again
Service is not good. We ordered food, but due to some reason, food got canceled. So we canceled the food and ordered just tea. So, after 1 min, their staff came and switched off the fan and AC. Rudely told that "Ye kharab ho gaya".
All good except dead fishes floating in badly maintained aquarium, placed in the middle of dining hall creates very bad decorum and dining environment. Dear Manager, we buy these little creatures and leave them to die is not good conduct. Kindly post the pic of aquarium after cleaning with your promise to maintain it in future...
The hotel staff refused to take the luggage to the room and there werent any elevators either. Had to take it to 2nd floor all by myself. There wasnt constant water supply as someone had apparently left their tap open. The food wasnt good and was basically tasteless. Overall Pretty Bad!
