The Highland Ladakh

I stayed at four different hotels in Ladakh, and this one was undoubtedly the best. Here's why: 1. Ladakhi-Style Wooden Interior - I consider encountering distinctive interior designs a highlight of traveling to new regions. Ladakh traditionally uses wood in construction, and it was a pleasure to see this reflected in the hotel's design. 2. Stunning Mountain View - While many hotels in Ladakh offer mountain views, few are as breathtaking as this one. It provides not just a close-up of the mountains but a view that harmoniously integrates with the town. Please refer to the attached picture. 3. Clean and Bright Bathroom - The cleanliness and brightness of the bathroom are crucial factors in choosing a hotel, and this hotel excels in this regard. It truly deserves five stars in this aspect. 4. Proximity to the Airport - Given the need for ample rest on the first day in Ladakh due to altitude sickness, the hotel's location, just five minutes from the airport, made check-in swift and allowed me to rest comfortably.

I would rate this as one of the best hotels in Leh. The location is convenient, with only a short drive to the market. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the housekeeping is top-notch. The breakfast buffet offers a great variety and quality, and the staff are willing to go the extra mile to fulfill any request. While there are no shops or other amenities nearby, the hotel provides a peaceful environment for a restful night's sleep. After a long biking trip in the region, this place is perfect for relaxation and rest.

It's one of the finest hotel in Leh. Let me start with things I appreciate 1. Hospitality is a major plus point : Reception manager - Ankush went beyond and above to plan our itinerary, accomodating our request - however small & also shipped our forgotten stuff to bangalore. Really helpful person. 2. Restaurant & Food: With reasonable price, quality & quantity both are best. Made wonderful stay for us.
