The Auspicious Hotel

+ The room I stayed in was nice & clean with a wide bathroom & the hotel is just a few meters away from the main market. - The receptionist guy wasn't well attentive to some requests.

Food quality and service is very good. The worst part is Service. I was living on ice-cold water and they do not give warm water on some pretext or other. They claim warm is there but it not actually. The only lift does not work for some reason or the other. They do not seem to think customer as important enough. The front desk staff should be sacked..they play video games rather than listen to you.

Nicely appointed rooms, super friendly staff, homely food, proximity to market and airport...what more can you ask for? Owner hails from a family of patriots with exemplary service to the nation and his warmth and care is genuine. I strongly recommend The Auspicious Hotel for short and/or long stay.

Our stay at The Auspicious Hotel was a game changer on the Leh experience, few meters from the heart of Leh yet calm and quiet. Cleanliness spotless, friendly and efficient staff and a very caring owner were details that helped us to fall in love with the city. Definitely will stay again next time visiting Ladakh!

Was there for a day .. wanted to stay for two days... But the service & behaviour inspired me to quit to be at better stay than this.... I don't think it's a place where you would like to be with your family.

My experience of staying at the hotel was very amazing and memorable. The staff welcomed us with a smile and took us to the rooms. They helped us in many ways like finding the location of some stores, making the ILP passes to visit other places like Nubra Valley and Panging Tso lake, and other ways also. The rooms are quite spacious, comfortable, clean and hygienic. Room service is efficient and fast. The restaurant in the hotel is also very impressive. They serve freshly cooked food and they serve the same so politely and gently that you feel obligated. The owner and the staff of the hotel really very very helpful. We had to leave a part of our luggage at hotel and return to our city but they sent our luggage to our address. We are really thankful to them. Overall, our experience of staying is perfect. There was no drawback. I will recommend anyone who visits Leh should visit the hotel and stay there to gain an all-inclusive experience.

The best part of this hotel is the staff and owner. They welcome you and make you feel at home. They go above and beyond to meet your needs. We used this hotel as our base during our 8-day Ladhak trip. We did not stay there the entire 8 days . The rooms are clean and decent. This is not the place for you if you are looking for luxury. This is the place for you if you are looking for service and home-cooked food. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Good Wifi 24*7 and Hot Water 24*7, amazing place to visit and have fun
