Hotel Lingzi

The best location, great service and attentative. Will stay again on my next trip.|Nice views from the rooftop.. Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa. Brilliant sunsets and decent food. The bazaar is just 1 minute away from the hotel. Internet is slow.

My third year (2022, 2023, 2024) of consecutive stay at Lingzi preparing for running the Ladakh Marathon - Lingizi is my home in Ladakh. We had so many of us (runners) this time staying at Lingzi. The stay this year was longer as I was preparing for a bigger race, The Silk Route Ultra. Staying at Lingzi as always was comfortable. Good food, ambience, friendly staff, beautiful open terrace with flowers and 360 degree view of Leh. Hotel location is excellent - closest to the Leh market so you are at the hub. Barista is next door - good coffee is taken care of. ||I would like to thank Rupesh and the entire staff at Lingzi for hosting us. Also like to thank Sir and Ma'am (owners - Hotel Lingzi), they were so kind in receiving us and hosting a party honoring runners. It was very touching and we all felt honored. Thank you very much for taking care of us, I look forward to visiting you soon next year!!!

Despite initial check in issues over all stay was memorable, very nice and comfortable. Staff are very friendly, smiling and supportive. Hotel's proximity to main market is another added advantage. From our Suit Room No. 301 window we had mesmerising view of snow capped mountains. In comparison to cost the food served in hotel was good. Overall I will say that stay was excellent and we recommend the hotel to others who are visiting Leh on a nominal budget..

Location is excellent as most of Leh market is walkable. But the rooms are okay. Cleanliness is not maintained in certain aspects -- for example the towel provided was dirty and the same with the bathroom footwear. There was no mat at the exit of the bathroom. The staff, including the front desk, go away at 10pm with no way to call for the night staff, or possibly no night staff even... this is very inconvenient if you have an early morning flight or an emergency as they lock the front gate.

Excellent location! Pretty good breakfast. Though I wish they had a decent internet. Very warm and gracious people at the hotel. Would surely go again.|The ground floor lounge is very nice and comfortable. They also had emergency oxygen if you needed it - very thoughtful.

I stayed at Hotel Lingzi for 3 nights with my family. Location of the hotel is fantastic as the main market is right across the street: this helped a lot in the initial days while we were acclimatising to the Leh climate. View from terrace is beautiful. Breakfast was light and tasty, and the staff were cooperative and helpful. 100% recommended for a stay in Leh.

If you want to stay at the heart of the city with a great view, amazing hospitality, and delicious food, this is your place. The rooms were spacious, well lit with a great view of Shanti Stupa. The hot water was always available. Room service was quick, and staff was courteous. You have the option to dine in on the roof as well with a great view of the city and surrounding mountains. Food here is a big plus point, and we were never disappointed. They also recommended upgrades the itinerary, which made our trip memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to stay in Leh city.
