essence AT LADAKH

Huge room with large bathroom. Very comfortable. Great food at the breakfast and dinner buffet and staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself and it's surroundings are absolutely beautiful. We fell ill with altitude sickness and had to change a few of our plans while staying at Essence. The management and staff went to incredible lengths to ensure our comfort and to make sure we had everything we needed. We would love to come back and stay here again!

Overall feel of the property is better than a hotel. Individual rooms give it the resort feeling. Rooms are clean, But they are just closed with no views. Prices are reasonable and value for money. The road leading to the hotel is very very narrow and is two way. Quite dangerous practically if you are driving. Too steep if you need to walk as well. Food at the hotel is very good. On par with typical north Indian food from any good restaurant in North India. Ambience of resort is good. Overall value for money as long as you are paying a 3star hotel rates. But much better than the hotels on the same road.

We recently stayed in hotel essence at Ladakh we experienced th best Hospitality and not to forget their amazing buffet, big shout out to the chef for feeding us with delicious food. And the staff here were very polite. Rooms well maintained and very clean.
