Salut Hotel Bishkek

Confortable rooms with bathroom, average breakfast, friendly staff that speaks English. However it is a bit far away from the centre.

I had a very bad experience here that left me feeling unsafe, afraid and led to me leaving the hotel a day early to locate new accommodations. I had an older European man become aggressive with me over talking on my phone in an open breakfast area. When I arrived I was the only guest in the room that morning. I got my breakfast and contacted my family to update them on my whereabouts and chit-chat about current events. I was unaware someone else entered the room and was sitting behind me. Instead of notifying me that anyone else was in the room the man approached me and began screaming and pointing at me to shut up and leave the area, leaving me shocked. He continued screaming I was an entitled American and said everyone hates me. I thought this man was going to hit me if I stood up for myself. My mom was on the phone with me, heard the interaction and was shocked, too. I am in the country alone and was left very shaken and afraid therefore left for another hotel. The hotel is clean. Rooms are small, basic but comfortable. The staff was nice but the experience ruined my stay and the first few days of my vacation.

Amazing place, very very nice location. Its close to the main commercial area where there are multiple malls and dining options. Also the staff was super super nice. one of the few places in bishkek where I did not have a communication problem. The room was very spacious. Their checkin/check out policy is different from traditional hotels. the breakfast was just OK but for the price, I think it is acceptable. Overall 9.5/10

The hotel is very clean and finished to a high standard. I booked a small room for a single person which was of a good size. The en-suite was to a good standard too. The location let's the hotel down. It's close proximity to the railway line. This line has freight trains running all day and night. The surrounding area is run down too. So don't expect an excellent view from your bedroom window. |It is excellent value. I had breakfast included in the price. You have a choice of three breakfasts. All freshly prepared. |The reception staff all speak good English and are very helpful. |The hotel booked a taxi for me to the international airport.

It was my first time in Kyrgystan on a bike and I couldn't have stayed at a better hotel than Salut. The ladies who took care of us were the sweetest, most helpful and understanding. I felt home away from home. I willl be coming back

Good location, helpful staff and functioning WiFi. The hotel is like B&B with limited breakfast. There are no toiletries in the room. The receptionist Ms.Fatima is very knowledgeable about city and the country. Thanks to her I could explore the city and also do a day trip. One can walk five minutes to reach main road that have many eateries, restaurants and shopping malls. Staff also helped me in arranging taxi to airport and also into city centre. A homely place

Great clean, modern single room with ok cooked breakfast. Great helpful friendly staff. I checked in about 6am after arriving from Istanbul , they let me checkin early without charge, close to rail line which was not an issue it was nice seeing 1 or 2 trains a day from the window. soundproffing was very good. They have a small outdoor swimming pool which would be open during summer months. Hotel felt very new and clean and very well run. If I return to Bishkek, definitely staying here again as was fantastic value if you book direct online with the hotel (about 15 euro a night) Its a little out of the centre but very walkable.

A basic yet comfortable room. Salut hotel is a wee bit a distance from downtown. Breakfast is served in the third floor dinning room. The staff are very nice and helpful to all guests, service with a smile. Fair and reasonable price. Good night.
