A very chilled out cozy and quiet place just a stones throw away from trivandrum city... Ideal place to get away from the city madness yet a short drive.. The main highlights are 1. Cool and pleasant weather 2. River front 3. Spacious and well maintained rooms 4. Easy access to ponmudi and meenmutty 5. Short hikes near the property 6. Amazing home made food. ( Need to pre order) 7. Hospitality 8. Good place for family and groups and bachelors alike as it's a very quiet place.. a day trip is also fine if u choose not to stay. Worth spending a day there. The list goes on.. Jay is an amazing host.. special mention to his sister for the delicious homely and sumptuous food she prepared .. a special shoutout to rajeev the manager who was with us throughout helping and guiding us with all his recommendations and guidance.. Definitely worth the visit.. will go back many more time.. thanks Jay and the team..we had an amazing experience... Cheers..

We a group of 14 members had a good experience there. A natural pool swimming at Kallar river made the event memorable for us. Also kitchen was available for us to cook...

It was an amazing experience. It is blended with nature. Kallaru river view is such a wonderful experience. Beauty of the nature and the ambience was excellent. Food was very delicious at the same time It was cooked with homely care. Hospitality is very good. They ve guided us well and shown us places which is really interior and we have explored many new places. Though the place was interior, we felt safe as they took good care of us n they were very concerned about the safety of the tourists. On the whole It was a very extraordinary experience.

It was a very pleasant experience. Everything, from the rooms to the bathroom, was neat and clean.

Visited Maya Forest Lodge in June, 2023. Apart from the hum of the AC and chirping of birds, it's entirely calm and quiet. Situated on the banks of the Kallar river - if conditions are favorable, one can take a bath in the river. Ideal place for those who want to seek solitude. Rooms/toilet - ok. Parking - can accomodate 5-6 cars. Google Maps shows the wrong direction to get to this place via the Vithura- Ponmudi thavakkal road. This route takes you to a dead end. The accurate route would be - from Vithura Kalungu junction proceed towards Vithura-palode road. Travel for 1.8 Km and at Mele Koppam, take a right turn towards Vithura-peringammala road. Proceed for 1.6 Km. Take right and proceed 100 m. Again take right and proceed 500 m. The road ends at the resort.

Many times visited the place ... just amazing ... calm and quiet, if you need recharge just spend a night there ... the river is chilled it will take all your pressure out ... but watch out for bad weather , and if you are lucky keep Checking the roof you might see a peacock popping out ... great atmosphere and hospitality ... of course the chef can give you special barbecue dnt forget to ask ....the staff are very courteous ....well done guys will be back soon ...

Lovely service from the cat and is very cuddly. The river is Really good and the locals are really Freandly
