Pranayakulam Homestay

The place exceeded our expectations. The location, serenity and the service was something which will make you return again and again. Though my stay was short, it left an incredible memory. I never felt like I was staying away from home. The generosity and warmth of the hosts is incomparable. The home cooked food, the pets and the river in front where one can a morning dip is beautiful package. If one is stressed and wants to escape yet wants to be at home, this is the place for it. The energy of the hosts permeates all through the place and makes one feel at peace.

This is such a special place. A wonderful family who are so kind to open their home to guests from around the world. I was worried it might feel a bit 'woo woo' but that could not be further from the truth - just lovely people, amazing food, beautiful surroundings, and option for meditation and yoga if you would like to do it. It's a beautiful place to be immersed in green nature, rest, stare at the river & birds. Away from the busy India. Most warm and loving family. They went out of their way to accommodate me. I felt very supported and taken care of. Enjoyed the great home cooking, morning walks with the doggies and time with myself to paint and read. That was an amazing experience! This place is just magical, located around nature, directly next to the river. The family is so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed to meditate every morning with Swami, who showed us many different techniques of meditation. Our room was big and comfortable, and homemade food always fresh and delicious. 10/10, I really recommend to stay! Thank you for amazing time, I hope to meet again :)

Amazing experience! The food was tasty, healthy, abundant and very cheap. All of the people there treated us like part of the family. The garden (very big) and the views very fulfilling. Shala for yoga or meditation, with openness to the surroundings, to the lake and with beautiful sounds of nature. Meditation every morning at 8, the best way to start the day. Highly recommend it!

We had a great week at Pranayakulam Homestay. Ananth and his whole family are warm-hearted. We had fantastic food every day, a great meditation every morning, a nice boat tour and lots of time to relax and listen to the nature. We enjoyed every second and highly recommend it!

If you want some adventure,if you want good food,if you want a family while you holiday,than this place is a must. The elderly couple who runs this place will come as pleasant welcome surprise for me. Not to forget Babu who ensures i get my hotwater to shower on time & the wonderful tea Amma makes just muaaah. I learnt meditation with the elderly gentleman who is also the house owner,the experience still remains strongly in my mind. Last but not least my experience cannot be complete without Ananth,who was a pleasant gentleman to share my experiences

We stayed here for a total of 18 nights and it was the ebst possible place to get a high quality test after several months of intense traveling. We charged our batteries with healthy home cooked food, great company (the family and animals) and had a super comfortable and clean room. All of that for a very fair price. I will miss you
