Our recent stay in Vattavada at this resort was absolutely amazing! Perched above a hill, the resort offers stunning panoramic views of the valleys and mountains, making it a perfect escape from city life. The ambience was peaceful and refreshing, with cool breezes and beautiful surroundings all around.||The cottages were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing the perfect balance of comfort and nature. The staff was welcoming and always ready to assist, making our stay even more enjoyable.||One of the highlights was the delicious food--fresh, flavorful, and truly satisfying after a long day of exploring. We also had a fantastic time with the group enjoyment activities, including bonfires, games, and nature walks. It's a great place for families and friends looking to have fun together!||If you're looking for the best resort in Vattavada with breathtaking views, good ambience, great food, and fun activities, this is the place to be. Can't wait to visit again!

The place is located on a hill top. Customer service, reception are Good. Cool climate, agriculture & off-road trips are major attractions. Approach to the resort is a narrow, gurter road due to village terrain. You cannot get your vehicle to the resort because of steep road, they will arrange a Jeep to reach. Old age people are not advised to come here due to steep steps. Overall stay was very good.

Pros-The stay is superb from every aspect.. From a thrilling steep uphill journey by jeep/walk to the serene ambience amidst the jungle with full of natural sounds. The staffs were helpful, food was good. On top of cherry, they've an excellent terrace to have quality time with your friends.. Cons- rooms are relatively small with smaller beds.. Ideal for two persons only. Any extra person will be accommodated by bedding only.. No provision for any extra cot.. And in cooler months, it'll be very uncomfortable to sleep on the (almost) floor.We were forced to book two extra seperate rooms for this disparity of information. In my experience, the owner is not very eager to solve any issue you face during your stay and doesn't communicate much when contacted.

We had a great experience at Mountain Hut Resort! The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The view from the resort was absolutely breathtaking, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also received a complimentary breakfast (poori set), which was a nice touch. Everything about our stay was excellent, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Vattavada.

Good atmosphere and very hygiene room.... Tasty homely foods ..They have kids friendly mini park. Seperate pantry area and music facilities are available... Beautiful view...Outstanding services....but poor road facilities

We four families stayed in Mountain Hut resort at Vattavada Munnar 17th may2025 Evening to 18th morning 11am. We reached kovilloor Bus stand Manager of the resort told their jeep will pick resort ok .Next day we vacated the rooms theywere not arranged the vechile to drop down the bus stand.our ladies and childrens step down and Walking towards the Bus stand . This reason my friends families shame on me.Manager said they can't get the vachicle to drop. This experience is very bad for me and my friends ,families.

One of the best parts was the location--it's the perfect resort in Vattavada if you love nature and adventure. We explored strawberry farms, went on scenic treks, and enjoyed the stunning landscapes all around. And the food? Absolutely delicious! Every meal was fresh and flavorful, giving us a real taste of the local cuisine.
