MAHIMIDAS Homestay

I had a terrible experience at this homestay. The room was very dirty, with dust and stains. It is not cleaned properly. Basic amenities like toiletries, and even proper bedding were missing. The overall maintenance was nonexistent, and the staff seemed indifferent to complaints. He was rude and not co-operative.Avoid if you care about cleanliness and comfort! Ac room is better , but dont book non ac. The pictures shown for non-ac room is actually ac rooms. Don't book based on the room photos you see.

"It's better to sleep in the roadside " They said its ac room and the ac is a dummy The bathroom looks like the local train's bathroom, i think the train is better, *highlights* * not a cleaned bedsheet and no pillow * no working ac in the ac room * no tables are cleaned.

I had a great experience staying at Mahimidas Homestay in Vadakara. The place is very affordable and offers excellent service. The staff was polite and attentive, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location is calm and peaceful, making it perfect for relaxation. Highly recommended for anyone looking for budget-friendly accommodation with good service.

Not recommended for family. Rooms not clean.

I stayed in a non ac with balcony room here for 3 nights,came for my friends marriage. Place is decent their balcony room is great. Pros: Easy connectivity to market, auto stand, bus stand. Clean and decent rooms. Cons: Should give Complimentary Water bottles. Geyser should be there in bathroom. Should have landline to call reception for any room service, had to go down multiple times. Tarrifs are on higher end. Does not accept cards. Only cash and UPIs.

Dirty bathroom,bad smell,no cooling for Ac,fan not having speed, Bathroom drainage blocked Staff incorporating for room service, Bed is very hard & tough,feels like sleeping in wood, Not value for money

Quite congested place in terms of room space as well as pathway. There is no lift and wheel chairs accessible. Though the have balcony rooms that's quite good. But bed and other stuff are so so. 2 person can accommodate easily with minimal luggage will do good. If you are travelling with kids and family it is not suitable. Though other than these things it is located near market area and nearly 700m from railway station and you can get frequently autos from the stand.

Very bad experience. No water in room. Arrogant behaviour of staff. Property is closed at 10 am so u r not allowed to go outside . No receptionist in front office .
