Paddy Farm Beach Resort

Super location , easy access to beach , friendly receptionist, affordable price

This place is just a couple of minutes away from a really lovely beach. The rooms are very basic: a comfortable bed, A/C and a clean and decent bathroom. The landlord here is a great guy and cooks Kerala style breakfast, plus coffee and some watermelon each morning. The real reason to be here tho, is the wonderful beach, just north of the main Varkala resort it's a bit quieter. Probably my favourite spot of the 10 ot more places I've stayed on my tour of western India.

The place is clean. You get a little cottage with a lot of privacy. The care taker suhail is always just a call away. He can even provide services like pick and drop from different places, even the food provided was amazing and very inexpensive. If you need to visit different places, he will also make reservations for you. We stayed here for 10 days and he made our stay very easy and comfortable. Highly recommended. The kitchen is not very usable for everyday use. But you can use it sometimes to warm food etc.

Check in rules happen to be different here for girls where the guys are required to pay for early check in when girls are waived off from the payment. Also the care taker do get indulged with the guests at times!

The place is near a secluded beach with 2-3 resorts around. Right outside the cottages is a big field of rice (paddy field). Overall the property and the hosts are nice. Only problem we faced was lack of parking space nearby. We had to park our four wheeler approximately 400-500 mtrs away from the property and in rainy whether the mud makes it difficult to walk. Special mention for the hosts, they were really nice guys and fulfilled all our requests on priority.

Loved the place. Spend a weekend and it was rejuvenating. The place is exactly as shown in the pictures rather more beautiful than you can feel in the pictur...

It is a naturally atmosphereic place which is situated 300m from car parking and can be reached by walking only. staff behaviour and support is beyond explanation . anyone who is from a stressful and busy environment can always select this place for a peaceful mind. The view of the paddy field brings nostalgic memories running through your mind. The beautiful songs of birds always whistle our ears. collectively this place offers a happy peaceful time. Couple friendly place with sufficient privacy.

No room service. Not even a hot water. No water in night for restroom. No check in desk . No one to reach at the time of need..
