Nebo hotel

Beautiful cliff beach view from first floor room during day time but nothing was visible in the night. Our room was on the corner and we had privacy issues passing through basement room balcony where bachelors were partying and smoking. When you travel with family better ask the staff our an accessible room. There's few cafe near by but bit expensive and crowded at times.

Great location on the south cliff. Our room had an all-glass front window that looked at the sea. There are steps nearby to descend on the beach: perhaps 50 steps down. The beaches are connected by walking along the south and north sides. Clean bathroom, linens, hot water, AC is what I need and it was there. The great view was the best. On our last day, I saw one of the best sunsets of my life. Oh and there is an ayurvedic centre as well (but we didn't go there) The reception staff was prompt in their services and were fluent in English. Even Hindi is fairly understood which is great. Unlike Goa, they were polite and courteous to the tourists. There wasn't an in-hotel restaurant (and therefore breakfast not included) but several options to eat from, including online food delivery. I think that covers my thoughts about the hotel. Would visit again, esp if I bag a deal!

A greatly anticipated stay turned into a disappointment. Immediately upon check in, our jaws dropped seeing two views: - A stunning beach view - View of ANTS on our bed (and on the floor). Both the views took our breaths away. Although we were comfortable comprising with the Ants' view. The staff was immediately called upon... they were helpful and courteous to replace all the linens, and used some spray to take care of the problem. We hoped that we would have a comfortable stay going forward, but the nightmare returned in the evening. I spent a good amount of time in putting the ants away. Despite the efforts, we were bitten by ants while sleeping. We decided to stay, anyway, mostly because we were out of the room for most day. Also, because we didn't want to waste the booking amount. PS: We were shown a couple of other rooms, however, they weren't great either. The property's rooms need serious renovation, as there were holes in the bedside table (made of bricks). Upon close inspection, we realized that this is where the ants were coming from. The bathroom had a stench which made the stay even more unpleasant. Honestly, the sea view was the only saving grace.

I recommend one of my friends who booked the room. Nebo Hotel is a very good place for family. The sea views are very good but the property rooms need some improvement. Then two people from the management team are looking after the reception and said that they had a bad experience there. Out of the two people, one of the guys wearing spectacles behaved angrily as if he did not know what hospitality is. It would be better to appoint someone with a little more experience or who knows how to talk politely. My friend was having a good conversation with the reception staff when the guy wearing spectacles interrupted and showed arrogance. He told me that it was a bad experience. There are still some improvements to be made. The kids had a very good experience there. They enjoyed it very much and the Ayurvedic massage was also good. It would be better if they paid more attention to a few things. The staff at Ayurveda should be a little more pleasant and welcome people. The consultation doctor helped us choose what we needed.

Amazing overall experience. We booked 1st floor sea view room & they delivered exactly what they promised. Great service as well, only con is they don't provide breakfast or dinner as there is no restaurant in hotel & you will have to order from Swiggy / Zomato or go to nearby Cafe Sarvaa which is slightly expensive.

We just had a night's stay at this hotel. We got into the room. The room was HUGE! It had huge walls made of glass, for the sea view. What can be better than staying in a room with full sea view? The bathroom was also HUGE! We loved the tranquil experience during our short stay. The host was very supportive. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely location on the south cliff overlooking the beaches on the "clean" side of Varkala. Hotel staff are very accommodating and fulfill all requests promptly. Room is nice but the bathroom has issues with water pressure and basic amenities such as a towel hanger or soap dish.

The place is really good. The rooms are big and the best part is the view, early in the morning you get to see the beautiful ocean view. The service was a bit slow but the staff was nice. Overall we had a good experience
