Lima Residency & Beach Resort Varkala

This guy took us to a different place because he overbooked this one . WEST BAY , where he took us . Hear me out , I am telling you not to go here . Please make pre bookings or book somewhere else . Worst Service Ever and top of that the guy will fight with you . He is so arrogant . I've never in my life met such type of people he'll literally contradict his words and shout at you . He is a MISOGYNIST. I am requesting you do not book your room here . A major con specially for ladies the bathroom looks good but has no water supply and taps and pot are in worst condition.

This is a superb residency which is managed by the best team of Kerela 'boys' in the business. They have both Lima Residency, a lower budget option, and Mohan's, a slightly more expensive alternative which is on the same site. ||These guys, Vishnu, Jittin and Sithu, make you part of their family, look after and ensure you are safe and well catered for. They are local 'boys' and they know their town, local villages, Kerela and India! They embrace you into 'real India' and, in their accommodation, India becomes home. They speak excellent English and move mountains to ensure you are set up for a real relaxing time ... money exchange, phone SIM cards, local transport ... thier finger is on the button of the best contacts and best deals! This is more than somewhere to stay this is moving in with people who 'have your back' ... this is priceless and not found in such depth anywhere else!||I spent 5 months here living in Lima Residency and having travelled a lot of the globe, and India many times, this is the best experience I have ever had!||Don't get me wrong this is not the lap of luxury but a beautiful setting, just off the busy cliff but right at the heart of Varkala. This accommodation is cared for and loved. Saj, the day to day manager, is always on site and is a fabulous friend to all visitors.||Rooms go from simple non AC with fan to full AC and seaview balconies ... all rooms have their own bathrooms. The prices are the best value in the whole of Varkala and I should know, I've compared all the possible places to stay! ||The residencies have a well kept garden where BBQs happen and chance to chill out with other guests or the boys over a beer. Kitchen facilities are great but I hardly used them as Varkala is full of really good eating places from breakfast to dinner.||I will come back to India again and I will definitely come back to Lima/Mohans. Miss it nd you lose out!

We stayed at Lima recidency for 12 days in February 2018. It is close to Helipad and the beach and has a nice garden with a lawn and a hangmat with some chairs and a table. There is also a rooftop terrace with some seawiev. In 3 of the totally 7 rooms there is a balcony, but not much of a view really. The roooms are really clean and includes beds, toilet with shower and fan, nor ac, cablechannels, tv or a desk. The staff are really friendly and helpful with everything, especially Sajith and Leila. We really enjoyed the stat and the atmosphere and can highly recommend this place to everyone who wanna have a quiet place, close to everything in Varkala cliff. The staff speaks mostly malayalam and also english. Please have a visit here!

We stayed in this place for 2 days and one night. Rooms alloted were clean and neat. This place is right besides the Varkala Cliff and most convenient place to stay. They provided us with the bike on rent too. Also, there are yoga sessions which happen. The owners of the place are really helpful. Beach is 2 mins walking distance. All the good cafes are at walking distance.

I spent 10 days at Lima Residency over Xmas. I had an amazing time in Varkala, Lima is literally 2 minutes from the beach in a quiet back lane. Perfect location away from the noise of the cliff but close enough to everything you need. I have to give 5 stars to the management and staff at Lima. They made me feel part of their family, they took care of me, made sure I was safe (I was travelling solo), shared dinner with me and invited me to their Xmas and New Year's party. Thank you so much guys, you made my holiday really special!

Good place to stay if u are coming to varkala. We were on a ride and stayed there for a night at rupees 1000 for 3 people which sounds pretty good. Ac rooms are available for 1500. Talking more about the place it is clean and quite not far way from the beach

Stayed out of curiosity as I've heard the really horrible reputation of it. The rooms are small dirty and stinky. It's beyond just dirty. I rather live on the streets than stay in this piece ||i will not come here Again

We stayed one week at the Lima residency, and everything was perfect. It is located right back the cliff walk and the beach. |The owners were really kind and we had good tips for every kind of demands.
