Green Garden Ayurvedic Resort

I went there for a yoga and Ayurveda retreat and i had the best time. Basia and all the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The Rooms are simple but very clean with a working fan and other essentials The Ayurvedic food was amazing and the treatments were great. I also felt incredibly safe. Highly recommend!

This is my third time coming back to Green Garden Ayurvedic Resort, and it always feels like the right place to be. The people here are just incredibly kind and welcoming, and they really know what they're doing. The Ayurvedic treatments I've had have been some of the most effective and healing experiences--whether it was a massage or a full treatment plan, I always felt I was in good hands. The rooms are simple but very clean, and the whole space is well taken care of. There are two buildings, a dining area, treatment rooms, and a rooftop shala where I loved spending time. The food is always fresh, nourishing, and made with so much care--it feels like home-cooked meals, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into them. The location is great--just behind North Cliff, so it's super close to everything, but still peaceful. You don't hear the noise or feel the crowds, which makes such a difference. I always feel really well taken care of here, and I know I'll be back again. If you're in Varkala and considering Ayurveda, this is a place I'd truly recommend.

Such a welcoming place to stay - great location close to the cliff but still peaceful. The whole staff are really welcoming - the food is amazing. The Ayurvedic food and treatments are great.

Overall a good experience, staff behavior is also good. Completely green all around and rooms are also very clean. Only negative thing was no beach view from the hotel. Beach is very near from hotel, hardly 2-3 minutes walks. If you are not very keen to beach view resort. Then it's very highly recommend

Very friendly staff. I've been in one of the groundfloor rooms and then switched to an upper floor room. As already mentioned in the reviews before insects might invade the room when it rains. Nevertheless I was very happy in my room in the upper floor. The is a washing line on the very top of the building so you could even do laundry. It is situated very near to the cliffs and a wonderful Yoga School is just next door. Would recommend it!

My first time in India and this resort made my stay special. The kindness of the staff is heartwarming. They cook tasty local food. They organise trips to significant cultural places. Their accomodation is minimalistic in a good way. You get your room cleaned and towels changed whenever you need it. They have laundry service. They have a vast, open air place to practise yoga with an overview at abundant vegetation around. They offer ayurvedic doctor consultation and treatment which is bliss to body, mind, and soul. They are open to feedback, so any issue can be solved on the spot. My kind of people:)

This hotel is a garden sorounded cool place to stay with beautiful veranda and a comfortable room at a moderate rent of Rs 1800 + 400 for AC extra and you need AC. 3 minutes distance from beach( by scooter) but the stairs down to the beach are very stiff and dark at night so better avoid this. We hired scooter easily available on rent for comfortable moving here and there and Papanasam beach (also very close from this hotel, 5 min by scooter )on novella road and best to get down to sea beach comfortably. Varkala didn't lure me much. Nothing special as such. Today is May 10th and havoc humid here. But Munnar is divine and heavenly. Have seen tons of crabs on the beach. Food at novella cafe is we relished, it's new. I planned for 3 days stay hut more than 2 days not required.

Nice place for yoga and Ayurvedic treatments, located very close to the cliff. Very nice and very helpful personnel. Rooms are spacy although quite simple. Hammocks are a big plus!
