Garden Bay Resort

"Good stay and hospitality with minor area of improvements. Would recomend" I stayed at this place during the last week of April 2025. 8k for a family room and 4k for budget room including taxes booked in Agoda Pros ------- The accommodation is well-maintained and situated on a cliff, accessible by 50 steps from the property. The hospitality was excellent. Amal, the manager, is very friendly and professional, offering essential assistance about the locality and recommending places and events. The rental bikes provided are well-maintained and worth the price (650 per day). The manager was accommodating, allowing for a late checkout at a reasonable price since my train was at night. I would definitely recommend this stay, especially for the hospitality and the way they treat customers. Family room is very spacious can easily accommodate 3 adults and the fit and finish were too elegant. Budget room is would be a nice fit for 2 adults and more that would feel cramped and the interior/bathrooms may look minimalist and would be a best option if you are not too aesthetic. The bathroom was veryyy near and clean. Areas for Improvement -------------------------------------- The internet connection is unstable, which could be an issue if you're planning to work remotely (though it might have been an off day). A complimentary breakfast would be much appreciated.

We had a comfortable and peaceful stay at Garden Bay Resort. The property was clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant place to unwind. Caretaker Ram was helpful and prompt in addressing any issues we had during our stay. Both the manager and the caretaker were very responsive and ensured we were comfortable throughout. One of the biggest advantages of the resort is its location--just a short walk to the cliff and the beach. It would be great if the resort had it's own restaurant to kick off the day with quick breakfast

I recently stayed at Garden Bay Resort with my friends, and it was an incredible experience! The resort is located near the beach, offering a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The rooms were exceptionally neat, clean, and very comfortable, making it a perfect stay for families, couples, or groups of friends. One of the best things about this resort is its convenient location--the cliff is just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the surroundings. A special mention to Ram, one of the staff members, who was extremely polite and calm, ensuring we had a great experience. The manager was also very kind and helpful, always ready to assist anytime. Overall, I'm fully satisfied with my stay and highly recommend Garden Bay Resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

The rooms were very nice, and the location was excellent, situated right next to the cliff. You can step out of the resort and take a scenic walk along the cliff, enjoying breathtaking views. Our stay at this property was truly memorable. Mr. Amal, the manager of the property, took exceptional care of us. He ensured that everything was well-arranged, provided valuable guidance to all the nearby tourist attractions, and even arranged an auto-rickshaw for our convenience when we were heading back to the railway station. His hospitality and attention to detail made our experience even more enjoyable.

The place is nice and well-kept. The caretaker is friendly and helpful. It's in a good spot, with a cliff you can walk to in just 50-100 steps. On the downside, there's no restaurant on-site, which can be a bit inconvenient. Also, the prices online are 2-3 times higher than what you actually pay. The cottages could be better for the price--they have thin walls and very-very small bathrooms.

Perfect destination for stay. I visited varkala with family with kid in march. Nice Garden for taking photo. Family rooms are good. AC, Hot water, TV available.nice Bathroom. Nearby cafes available. No direct see view but see is just 1 min walk only Main thing host ram was really helpful and simple person.

Amazing location, friendly staff. We asked for early checkin and they were able to arrange the room. There is no restaurant but since it is close to the cliff so we can easy find restaurants. Overall it's a good stay with amazing location.

This hotel is a great place to stay! The staff are friendly, and it's super convenient for getting to Varkala Cliff and lots of restaurants. The only thing to be aware of is that the road to the hotel is a bit narrow if you're driving a four-wheeler. Overall, an awesome place!
